Dick is dead.

He has gone home to be reunited, his burden lifted.

What?

Attorneys for I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby attacked plans by prosecutors in the CIA leak case to submit a New York Times op-ed containing handwritten notes by Vice President Dick Cheney.

In a court filing late Friday night, Libby’s lawyers argued that their client testified before the grand jury that he did not see this document until it was shown to him by the FBI in November 2003.

The op-ed article by former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, which was published July 6, 2003, argued that the Bush administration “twisted” intelligence “to exaggerate the Iraqi threat” in the run-up to a U.S.-led invasion.

Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald has argued in court filings, that the Cheney’s notes on the op-ed article expressed the concern he had about assertions made by Wilson, which concluded that the Bush administration somehow, “twisted” some intelligence about Iraq’s nuclear weapons program.

Those concerns about the merits of Wilson’s findings, after his trip to Niger, included the notation by the Vice President questioning whether Wilson’s wife had “sent him on a junket.”

Fitzgerald has argued that the op-ed triggered a campaign in the White House to discredit Wilson’s finding which included outing Wilson’s wife, a classified CIA agent, to reporters.

You loved both Cheney and Trump.

We don't even know how bad the unemployment situation is right now because we didn't get September numbers and we won't get October numbers, either.

What's the point in getting numbers that end up being drastically revised months later?

Dick Cheney, who served a long and very distinguished career in government, culminating in the Vice Presidency.

Throughout most of that time, he earned high marks and respect in a variety of positions, from being Gerald Ford’s chief of staff, Defense Secretary k during the Gulf War, and lastly in the Bush Administration.

As well respected as he was prior to 2000, his work in the Vice President’s office was highly pro-lo attic to say the least!

Is “Dock” deliberate or a typo?

The Demokkkrats have lost a great friend. RIP

And so here comes the Rotten Soul Crusade, cheering on the death of their political adversaries.

Good job heaping burning coals on your own head
I, for one, am not cheering about Cheney's death, but it must be said that Cheney lied through his teeth to push for the disastrous invasion of Iraq in response to 9/11, when Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Cheney and Rice and other Bush administration officials cited bogus evidence that Saddam had nukes or was about to get nukes, when in fact Saddam was nowhere near getting nukes and posed no threat to us. We controlled half of Saddam's air space, bombed his country at will, and had him thoroughly contained.

The invasion of Iraq was a senseless, unjustified, immoral operation that caused the needless deaths of thousands of American soldiers and caused life-long injuries to thousands of other U.S. military personnel.

That you celebrate some ones death makes you no better than those laughing at kirks death. Beyond disgusting. Shows your true liberal colors.

Okay I'm just gonna point out Cheney's death was heath related.
Kirk was publicly ASSASSINATED!!!!

BIG F-ING difference in the 2 causes of death.

You might have a point.

Gacy only killed 33 people. (and most of them were gay prostitutes, so I doubt you were mourning.)

Cheney killed 5000 Americans and 600,000 Iraqis.

After 50 years of non-stop Muzzlim terrorism, maybe it was time to send all cotton-tops a message?

15th post
The planet and America are now better with Dick Cheney burning in hell. Hell is now more corrupt (imagine that!!!) now that Cheney is residing there.

This something both the left and the right can come together and celebrate about. A truly good for nothing horrible person has finally kicked the bucket

As my teachers used to say, "Show your work". Show me how 200,000 Americans have been murdered by illegal immigrants. Give us a source.

(And no, you don't get to claim it was because of Fentanyl. Those were suicides, not murders.)

Minimum ten Americans per day killed by illegals (~3000 per yr) do math CommieJoe. Do math.

Yes, I know. Biden Humiliated Cheeto Jesus, how dare he!!!!

Of course, in a year, we will be looking back at Biden as the "Good Old Days" when Trump brings us double-digit unemployment again.

We don't even know how bad the unemployment situation is right now because we didn't get September numbers and we won't get October numbers, either.

You've been proven wrong on almost every major issue or prediction since I joined the You're just chirping nonsense again due to your TDS.

I was initially a big fan of Dick Cheney going clear back to his days as Chief of Staff for Gerald Ford (if memory serves). He seemed like the grownup in a world of children. When George W. Bush chose him to be Vice President, I thought it was a great choice.
My opinion of him changed over the years, however. I came to view him more and more as the living embodiment of the Deep State, always too anxious to get the U.S. involved in foreign wars.
But the kicker came when his daughter, Liz Cheney, was elected to Congress from Wyoming but eventually proved to see such a sellout to the Deep State anti-Trump forces. Her position on the fake January 6 Committee only further solidified her membership in the Deep State Hall of Fame. She got what she deserved in her next election, getting voted out by a record margin.
