Francia Márquez, an environmental activist, became a phenomenon in Colombia, mobilizing decades of voter frustration. She became the country’s first Black vice president on Sunday.

Gustavo Petro, a Bernie-like candidate, beat the Trump-like candidate for the presidency

Well the totalitarianism of the Republican Party is certainly a problem, for the Don't Say Gay Governor, who opposes masks, public health measures, and lies to the public.

Totalitarian? Funny shit coming from a Clown who lives in a country that locks people up and seizes their property for simply disagreeing with the government.

Columbia is not a country, it is more of a drug cartel.

Can anyone picture woke drug lords

What sort of horrific pain will they inflict on people for not using their pronoun of choice?

LOL.

Oh, but don't worry Columbia, soon you will have shortages and $20 gas in no time.

We need to also worry about the Democrats doing everything they can (including stealing elections) to turn the US into a Socialist shithole.

When your president elect had to promise he wouldn't nationalize companies, you know you are in trouble.

When he promises to restrict the oil industry, one of the most profitable legal industries in Columbia, you know you are in trouble.

The election was almost 50-50 based on the count so far, so if this Marxist thinks he has a mandate, he is mistaken.

Well, yes, but at least he does know all the keywords that keep the rubes paranoid and angry.

So give him SOME credit.

I give him credit for passing a bill making running down protestors who are blocking the road, legal. I look forward to the day when some pissed off parent runs down one of the anti-CRT protestors at a school board meeting.

Leftism is like Nazism, except for the fact that Nazism everyone hates and Leftism has been sold to the world as cool

But Leftism, i.e. Marxism, has murdered hundreds of millions more than Nazism every did last century.

They attempted to murder the entire GOP Congress, and even a Supreme court justice

Just thank the dear Lord they are not insurrectionists who get shot dead while unarmed.

The other issue is people keep trying different flavors of Marxism, each time getting the same result. The flaw is the human element, because the transition between capitalism and the "classless society" requires something along the lines of the dictatorship of the proletariat. And the dictatorship never seems to give up it's supposedly transitionary power, devolving into simply another ruling class, with more consolidated power than the Capitalists could ever hope to acquire.

Not sure how they do it in your shithole country, but in the US I have yet to see a School Board meeting that has been held in the middle of the highway. :cuckoo: :cuckoo: :cuckoo:

"very troubling, We've got a problem in the Western hemisphere with Marxism & totalitarianism spreading"

Says the douchebag who thinks it's perfectly fine for the state to bully businesses when it scores points with his base.

Ironic reply to this post...

... is ironic.

Serves the 'businesses" right for dinking in politics

I understand the excuses for the mandates. I just don't want anyone to confuse him with a free-market libertarian.
I'm a free market libertarian. And also a constitutionalist. And an historian. Unregulated capitalism is trouble. It's much like socialism, people say "it'll work this time", but no, it won't.

Our Constitution is very clear. Corporations have no Rights. Nary a one. None whatsoever.

And that's because corporations are a collective form, whereas rights belong to the individual.

Trying to say a corporation has rights is like saying "we believe". It's an oxymoron. There's no such thing. Belief belongs to the individual.

Whatever. As I said, I've heard the excuses.
