I know their legal status is not in question.
So do you. You just don’t like it.
They're from South America and pass through a bunch of Spanish speaking countries to come here. Why can't they seek asylum in Columbia, Panama, Mexico, etc?

Sure but douchebag Republicans have taken it to an entirely new level. Only partisan retards think differently. Back at ya :itsok:

But hey, go ahead and prove that a Dem politician refused to help a city when it had been hit by natural disasters. Go.
The Feds are spending 80 billion a year on HIV/Aids. Not including state, local and city. And private insurance companies added costs. Why? Tell us.

If the crossed onto United States soil without our express prior consent then they ARE Illegal, even if many mask their illegality by spurious claims for asylum.
Nonsense. It is quite legal to apply for asylum. Their legal status determines their illegality or not. That is only determined after being processed.

Why can't they settle in Mexico, Ecuador or Panama?

They aren't seeking asylum. Where are they from?
They are, dope. They were processed as doing so and given hearing dates. That’s why moving them out of the court jurisdiction where they’re assigned screws them and the system. But that was always the point.
