Dershowitz Takes Issue With Farmers' Market After Pierogi Denial

Under New York Law...

All "point of sale" establishments would be included under "Retail Stores".

NY law is a bit overly broad, but has the general idea. The problem is when they try to apply it to contracted non-timely non-essential services.

To me a Hotel/Motel can't deny people rooms, but they can refuse to hold an event they find morally wrong.

I get it, you want to pick and choose (this private entity is subject to PA laws, but this private entity isn't), but that's not the way laws are written.

Nope, I want to draw a line of limiting PA laws to actual PA's.

The law is overly broad as I have said.

And you are free to have that opinion.

Doesn't change the law.

Just as I'm free to have the opinion that PA laws as applied to private (non-government contract) should be repealed and let the market decide.

I believe martybegan is correct. The Farmers Market MUST be run by Leftists, because Conservatives would have no moral issues at all with serving a child rapist.

Go back to your hole and **** yourself with a rusty flaming AIDs infested tire iron.

They both would have been better off just talking out differences.... :(

I don't think the merchant wanted to discuss anything with a child rapist, and shouldn't have to. Dershowitz has made a career of defending scumbags. That's a choice. There is no shortage of lawyers in America.

I get that even bad people deserve lawyers to defend themselves in court.

But I think reasonable people can see a difference between providing a defense in court and making a really corrupt deal for a rich elitist to avoid culpability.

Aurally defending child monsters, murderers and Celtic cretins got him

Lush Limbaugh got him on the radio, and on Fox.

His pseudo lawyer act and his daily apoplexy rants keep his know nothing audience entertained.

He looks like Despicable Me, sitting in that armchair in a green screen library.

If the owner just told Dershowitz how they feel about him and why in a civilized manner, maybe Dershowitz would have chosen not to buy from them?

Not saying it would have been easy for the stand owners....but it would have been better and more civilized, than the continued promotion of hatred and disrespect on display for all of us to now pick sides on. Dershowitz will have his comeuppance some day on this earth...it is probably closer than we think....(but if not here on this Earth, he will with his maker....is my own personal security blanket and prayer)😁

Avoiding the confrontation all together would have been the other option....imo.

Now his business will likely be hurt.

His/her life and family's, has changed forever now....with being stalked... in emails, podcasts, tweets, in person....
