Dershowitz Takes Issue With Farmers' Market After Pierogi Denial

It should be, in the case of PA type point of sale transactions.

There shouldn’t be PA laws on point of sale private venders.

Private business should be able to accept customers based on any criteria the choose. Let public opinion and sales sort it out.

It should also not be against the law for customers to share with news outlets, review sites and via social media their experience - as long as the information is true.

PA laws should only apply to government actors and venders acting under government contracts as a condition of the contract. Nor should the government purchase from vendors with discriminatory practices.

What hypocrisy. Again, I am on record saying actual public accommodations have to follow PA Law.

If Dershowitz wanted to cater an event and they said no, I wouldn't have an issue with it.

This has nothing to do with public accomodations. You're playing a game to try and portray that whiney little schmuck as a victim.

I'm sure he will go full blow apoplectic on his show about it. It's his act.

And the Pirogi people are assholes.

50 MAGA Hat people should line up in front of their stand and force them to deny service to each of them.
.

Clog that business up for a while, so they can't sell ANYTHING, and see how fast they change their minds.

MAGAs like pirogis too!

If your daughter was one of the girls abused and someone said "yeah, I got a massage from her but I left my underwear on", first knowing what you know about Epstein, would you believe him and second would you say "OK, you were just doing your job"?
What?

Look. You’re confused. It has exactly nothing at all to do with trusting Epstein. In fact, I presume he got murdered not just because he was guilty (literally “as sin”) but because others are guilty, too and desperately desire a successful coverup.

But lawyers still have an ethical obligation to defend people accused of crimes and to do so to the best of their abilities and training and experience, fairly and objectively and honestly and even zealously.

You'd never catch me at one of those "farmer's market." They're always infested with leftists, the prices are stupidly high, and those "organic" farmers probably poop in a five gallon bucket and use it for fertilizer.
The Farmers Market down here used to be the best breakfast in Town. By far. Not even close. Country Cooking. Southern Country Cooking. Grits, Ham Hocks, Pancakes, Country Ham, Grade AA eggs (oh yes, they are) Biscuits and Gravy, (the best in the known Universe) smoked sausage and -- Lots of all of it. Made from scratch. Every last bit

But the whole thing was Farmers. Actual, you know, REAL Farmers. The Wife and I would tool in there and sit down, it was loud, noisy, the smell of fried food was everywhere, the customers were a mix of working people including a lot of Black People. Jeans was dressed up.

But the food was great. They didn't serve one thing that came in a can. Nothing. None of it. And the morning drink was always Sweet Tea.

It's all gone now. New roads, new construction drove everything out and there's nowhere worth re-doing it. There's some new places but I fear they would be like what the OP is talking about.

CA killed farmer's markets with their CDFA legislation. Here the 'farmer's market' has been greatly reduced and a lot of the vendors just sell trinkets.

You understand the question. You simply have decided to avoid it. Dershowitz lands somewhere below O.J. Simpson. He gets nor deserves any respect.

I understand that you either don’t get it (making you a moron) or that you’re just too dishonest to confess the point.

Still, the question has nothing to do with whether Dershowitz has or deserves your “respect.”

The point is he is scum and no one should defend him over anything.

No; that’s just your ignorant opinion.

By “he” you’re unclear. If you mean Epstein, he was scum. And that doesn’t matter anymore. He being dead and all.

If you’re still blabbering about Dershowitz, your ignorant opinion is wrong. He is perfectly well supposed to defend his clients. And what you think about that remains meaningless.

No; that’s just your ignorant opinion.

He said he was on the island. He got massages by Epsteins girls.......but he left his underwear on.

If you believe this you are beyond gullible and even if true, it still makes him a scum bag.

That's not all he did and no lawyer is obliged to help his client to continue to abuse young girls.

No. It doesn’t. You can spew shit. You just can’t back it up.

Aside from your ignorant biased self, who says he ever helped his client continue to abuse anybody?

Protecting a major sexual offender of underage girls.

Goes to show "it's about the kids" never was.

Our legal system relies on competent people as defense lawyers for even the most reprehensible criminals.

PA laws should only apply to PA's. Anything else would result in a patchwork of sellers with too many requirements and unknown availability of point of sale products.

Once you allow the public to buy something point of sale on your property you should have to follow PA laws for those transactions.
