Demolishing The White Houses East Wing

Let's be honest here. It really wouldn't matter what Trump did here, how big or small a renovation. Dimocrats swing at every pitch, so there would be a meltdown no matter what.

The wing was added in 1942, its not like its historic.

Except that it kind of is...

It was added in 1942 because its construction was used to hide the construction of a bunker, a bomb shelter, in the event that Nazi rockets could eventually hit the U.S. East coast.

So there is a bit of World War II history related to the East Wing.

Precisely correct.
He gets private funding: "Oh, he's on the take!"
He gets government funding: "He's wasting taxpayer dollars!"
He can't win no matter what he does. So he just does it anyway and laughs about all the whining and weeping and kicking and screaming.

I don't think that newborn babies cry nearly as much as democrats do.

Even radical leftwinger Shaun King is telling lefties to stop with the phony outrage:

Why didn't Trump just go through the normal channels, to remodel the White House?

Because he would have been told, "No."

That's our Child President.

Give it a rest before everyone gets you're an asshole.
And why would you think that? Dear God! You are one cult driven ....lost soul....

We have a right to question what he is doing without ever consulting the Whitehouse Preservationists... hired and required by congress, under law before construction at the Whitehouse of any kind....and yes, even if the presidents use their own money for reconstruction or additions... Which several presidents have used their own money for remodels etc.

Why would you object? What is your reasoning?

Biggest problem seems to be a President who'd been accused (and found guilty) and committing crimes, but his supporters saying "it's politically motivated", is committing a crime by going ahead with this without following THE LAW.

Go ahead. Back up your claim.

To make things better, you sometimes have to remove the old stuff.

This part was built in the 1940's IIRC, so no great loss.

Yes, it's essentially a WW2-era office building...and probably past its sell-by date.

The fact there is no permanent facility for state dinners at the WH is, honestly, astounding.
