TV media/entertainers and movies and programs are influencers in the modern age. You have obviously been affected by them. Biggest problem seems to be a President who'd been accused (and found guilty) and committing crimes, but his supporters saying "it's politically motivated", is committing a crime by going ahead with this without following THE LAW.

How anyone can take those "crimes" seriously is hilarious. You are correct. The east wing, as useless as it was will nea never be rebuilt. The white house has needed a formal, large scale, entertainment space forever. Most people thought that there already was one.

Having world leaders entertained in a tent in the backyard is demeaning. It is unworthy of a first class nation.
