Democrats new word, Affordability!

I find it kinda neat how you guys hang on TRUMP!'s every word, parse every sentence and comb through every appearance on camera, desperately looking for something, anything you can complain about. It's almost as if he lives rent free in your minds and you think about him a whole lot more than anyone else does. Is it your end-stage TDS or something else that compels you to do that?

I hear you. I see you. I care a tremendous amount about how you feel. You matter.

I genuinely do not care. Of all the things worth latching onto, this is not one of them. It does not affect us a people or a nation in the least.
"Groceries" being a new word is actually far better.

There are ways to improve "affordability" but Democrats are clueless about any of them.

First, the law of Supply & Demand. If you want to lower the price of gasoline, you "drill, baby drill." You open Alaska to exploration and exploitation of its massive energy resources. You open up sections of Federal lands, including parts of national parks. If you want to make housing affordable, you encourage construction of new housing units. You do NOT demand that every new development include a percentage of "affordable" units, because that mandate dramatically reduces the number of developments that actually happen.

Second is general prosperity, which invariably includes a bit of the dreaded inflation. A strong national economy results in increasing incomes, which make more things "affordable." You promote prosperity by inducing American consumers to "buy American," and working to open foreign markets to American goods and services. Democrats are clueless.

But let's see how Mamdani does in NYC with the "affordability" of rental units in the Big ******* Apple.
Local governments can easily promote affordable housing developments. The problem is that they need more property tax money to address the problems that they cause.

Republicans don't like that word because they don't know how to make things affordable.

As he races headlong into the backwaters of history, Trump has decided that the word "Affordability" is a Democrat creation, not used enough by Republicans. Well, guess what Dumb Ass, the word has been around much longer than you have!

This clown is so out of touch with reality, that it would be difficult to justify him being president of a boy scout troop, much less president of the United States, thanks to him, a third world country!

Bigly!!!

Yes, it's definitely new.

This is what happened during the last 4 years:

Nah, "affordability" sounds a lot more like "free stuff" in Democratic socialist lingo.
Trump campaigned on some secret plan to lower prices.

Turns out there was no plan. The people noticed.

Yeah, it's weird how you dembots didn't realize the word existed while your policies drove up the price of everything by double digits over your four year war on Americans.

Oh, that makes me feel oh so special. I never knew you were so profligate with your attention. Now, you'd better get back to scouring the interwebs for something TRUMP! might have said. I hear he was waving his hand in one of the recent videos.

Overall inflation was 21.2% during the four years Biden was in office, with the latest data from December 2024. Earnings rose by 19.4% during that time. So the typical family did, in fact, fall behind during Biden’s presidency. Prices rose by more than earnings, which means a typical paycheck bought less at the end than it did at the beginning.
