• Suggested imprisonment for those that disagree with the Government
• Brownshirt regime to commit violence against those that disagree with the Government.
• Preventing religious groups from gathering

Calling themselves "National Socialist" was a marketing ploy, because half the Political parties in the Weimar Republic called themselves "Nationalist" and the other half called themselves "Socialist".
