DEMOCRAT BACKFIRE: The Government Shutdown Has Awakened the Public About How Many People Are on Food Stamps

Way WRONG!

Red States Lead With Federal Dependence

In 2022, wealthier, Democratic-leaning blue states paid more into the federal government than they received, in contrast to the less wealthy, Republican-leaning red states, which received more in federal funds than they contributed. By 2024, this dynamic shifted, with both red and blue states receiving more from the federal government than they paid in taxes. However, red states still outpaced blue states in federal funds received per dollar paid in taxes, securing $1.24 compared to the $1.14 blue states received. In the MoneyGeek rankings, seven of the 10 most dependent states are considered red states.

“There are 42 million people in this country that need food stamps on a weekly basis.”“

And we’re saying ‘people’ deliberately instead of Americans because most of the people that are on food stamps aren’t even from this country.”“

45% of Afghanistan immigrants are on food stamps.”“

42% of Somali immigrants,

34% of every immigrant from Iraq,

23% of Haitians.”“

59% of ALL illegal aliens are collecting food stamps, meaning that most of the people getting food stamps from the U.S. Government and the U.S. Taxpayer are not even Americans.”

No way -
Democrats have assured us that people here illegally do not get Government aid.
These are who the democrats try to tell us benefit our economy. And these illegals not getting welfare are definitely not getting tax payer healthcare. Not a chance.

You are full of shit. Prove me wrong.

Are undocumented immigrants eligible for federal public benefit programs?

Generally no. Undocumented immigrants, including DACA holders, are ineligible to receive most federal public benefits, including means-tested benefits such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, sometimes referred to as food stamps), regular Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Undocumented immigrants are ineligible for health care subsidies under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and are prohibited from purchasing unsubsidized health coverage on ACA exchanges.

Undocumented immigrants may be eligible for a handful of benefits that are deemed necessary to protect life or guarantee safety in dire situations, such as emergency Medicaid, access to treatment in hospital emergency rooms, or access to healthcare and nutrition programs under the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

I had high hopes the yellow post wasn’t going to be retarded. Then the second line was “Generally no” which means yes.

So in the end you still posted something retarded just in yellow.

It's what Democrats want, so why are you being objectively stupid ? They want Healthcare for them too. The Democrats figure that they will find favor with anti-American labor corporation's that have powerful lobbies who want to work foreigners for cheap, and all the while the laborers are shored up by government subsidies.

What a nightmare for American labor, and for beginner American labor since going global became a reality full of scams and false hopes in the USA.
I have no idea what you are talking about conspiracy beagle. If that is true then show me the legislation they offered up when Biden had the White House and both houses of congress in 2021-2022. They never offered up your insane fantasy of legislation. But maybe I am wrong.. show me the legislation. (Hint for readers: He will never return)

What part of it's what they want do you not understand dummy ?

What part of it's what they want do you not understand dummy ?
What part of "why didn't they offer it up when they had the whole congress and White House" do you not understand?

They got the ACA through
They got the CHIPS bill through
They got a comprehensive infrastructure bill through
They got the GOP to agree to an immigration bill (until Don made them back away)

Nowhere does any legislation like you suggested exist.

My parents were never on food stamps because they worked for a living and didn't depend on the government to support them.

Food doesn’t cost more, devalued fiat Monopoly money buys less.
Thank you Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Barak Obama, George Bush II, Bill Clinton, George Bush I, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon and their lackeys Jerome Powell, Janet Yellen, Ben Bernanke, Alan Greenspan, Paul Volker, William Miller and Arthur Burns.
Right on cue, Powell cut the rate by 25 basis points. It won’t be enough to make the annoying orange happy but it should provide some cover for the tariff nonsense.

Dozens of States Sue Trump Administration Over Planned Food Stamp Cuts

More than two dozen states sued the Trump administration on Tuesday over its recent refusal to fund food stamps during the government shutdown, seeking to spare roughly 42 million people from hunger and financial hardship starting in a matter of days.

The states, including officials in Arizona, California and Massachusetts, asked a federal judge to force Washington to tap emergency reserve money so that families would not see an interruption to their benefits under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, starting Nov. 1.

Roughly one in eight people in the United States receive food stamps, which average around $187 a month and cost the federal government about $8 billion monthly. Lawmakers must regularly approve money for it, though SNAP maintains a sizable reserve to cover any shortfalls.

At least someone cares if people go hungry.

Are you actually claiming that if Biden as President told democrats in congress not to negotiate with republicans before a shut down and then had speaker Pelosi shut congress down and send them home during a shutdown, where food stamps for 10s of millions of people were out of money if they didn't negotiate, and 10s of millions having their health insurance go way up.....if they didn't negotiate with republicans.....

That no one would have blamed Biden at all, for doing that....?
We know Trump occupies your every waking thought, but Trump did not tell anyone not to negotiate with the Democrats.
