You're proceeding under the assumption that the Orange trud's flock wants government. They prefer no government. So if there was an audit that eliminated 100% of waste, fraud and corruption, to where every penny collected in taxes and spent was optimized...they'd still be miserable. They want no taxes, no government, and total bedlam. Why? Because they don't see "whats in it for them".

The elementary problem they have is a foundational misinterpretation of why there is a government and laws. They are there to, at the end of the day, protect the minority. Not an ethnic or cultural minority but someone who is unpopular or has unpopular opinions...hence the first amendment.
