Delta objects to new Georgia Law. Can you say “Fascism”?

The OP correctly describes fascism as right-wing.

I'm surprised the OP spelled it correctly. They sure as fuck don't understand the concept.
One facet of fascism is corporations carrying the water for and/or inserting themselves in matters are the business of The State...This fits that bill, dMac.
Don't make excuses for your ignorant Trumpster buddies. They're too stupid to understand corporatism. You seem to be riding that crazy train with them. Enjoying the ride?
Corporatism is fascistic, dMac.....So blow it out your fake glibertarian ass.

Businesses protesting government policy is not corporatism, dumbass. Do some reading for chrissake.
Business carrying the water for one faction of the gubmint, in order to curry favor with them, is fascistic, dumbass.

Sigh - you've clearly signed on with "stupid".

The thing is, seemingly trivial things, like the inability of dimwits to understand the meaning of the words they use, can create real problems. Corrupt leaders can use this kind of ignorance to convince people that black is white - that freedom is slavery and ignorance is strength.

Corporatism has nothing to do with incorporated businesses. It's a kind of government that distributes power to special interest groups. The "corporate power" Mussolini was referring to was the power of special interest groups in society, not the power of private business. But this distinction is far too subtle for the idiots, and they end up getting it backwards. Unscrupulous leaders, and nihilist trolls, use this ignorance to advance their own agendas.
Corporatism and fascism are closely related, to the point of being virtually indistinguishable from one another, stupid.....You don't get one without the other.

You really are all in on the "Equivocation for Dummies™" strategy, aren't ya? The point, that you nearly sprained your neck steering around, is that this isn't corporatism. Jesus. You are fucking lost.
Equivocation nothing....They're all points along a continuum....One begets, and is an integral part of, the other.

The corporations are obviously heading off becoming targets of the mob that factions that The State has shown no interest in controlling.....The black shirt and brown shirt goon squads were elements of what form of The State, professor?

Fuck Umberto. Twisting words in knots is of no interest to me. The illegitimate administration is facist and so are the companies that try to intimidate people.

Hell yeah! Who needs to understand the words we use? Just fling them around like spitballs on a blackboard. Go team!

That is what is going on. If you cannot handle the truth that is your problem.

See, that's where you run into trouble. Because, to answer that question, you're gonna need to use words. And those words mean things, even if you don't understand them. Rock and a hard place I guess.

Propaganda and narrative is going on. Nothing that will help solve the problems. Only division and unwarranted blame are the results.

I'll help you out. The "problem" that you're railing against is the same "problem" that bothers the socialists so much: under capitalism, private wealth has more power than government.

Funny how Corporations are now weighing in on laws, and now making political statements.

Civil rights groups have filed lawsuits against the state of Georgia, saying it was an example of “blatant racism, represents politics at its very worst and is clearly illegal.” On Wednesday, 72 black executives signed an open letter calling for American corporations to join the resistance.

To “join the resistance”? Is that like an insurrection? The recently voted in legislature made the law. What happened to respecting the election and its outcome?

Coca-Cola also came out to make their political statement on the subject.

What’s next? Firing employees that voted the wrong way?

Fascism is here.

When have corporations not been involved?

Try to be honest for once.
When have they involved themselves with commenting on laws that have zero to do with the business that they're in?

Try to be honest, for once.

Always, just not publicly, they hire lobbyist to appeal to politicians.
Yeah....Companies pay gazillions to lobbyists to pester politicians about issues that have nothing at all to do with their business operations....Suuuuuuuurrrre.

The people that work at Delta, Aflac, CocaCola are aware of the voter suppression intent of this new voter law and they also know the requirements for voter registration in Georgia.. This ploy is very, very obvious on its face.
Oh, bullshit....They couldn't care less.

They're virtue signalling for the free press, and sappy rubes like you sop it up like a kitten at a saucer of cream.

Georgia has strict voter registration requirements. The new law is transparent .. Its designed to keep the elderly and minorities from voting. Georgia Republicans should be embarrassed... Citizens should speak up.. The voting law is sleazy and unAmerican.

Last time ,well every time I have flown DELTA, I have been required to show ID. One time I almost missed my plane because they spelled my 1st name wrong and it didn't match the spelling on my ID. I also can't bring on a bottle of water...sooooooo

review Umberto's characteristics of fascism

  1. The cult of tradition. “One has only to look at the syllabus of every fascist movement to find the major traditionalist thinkers. The Nazi gnosis was nourished by traditionalist, syncretistic, occult elements.”
  2. The rejection of modernism. “The Enlightenment, the Age of Reason, is seen as the beginning of modern depravity. In this sense Ur-Fascism can be defined as irrationalism.”
  3. The cult of action for action’s sake. “Action being beautiful in itself, it must be taken before, or without, any previous reflection. Thinking is a form of emasculation.”
  4. Disagreement is treason. “The critical spirit makes distinctions, and to distinguish is a sign of modernism. In modern culture the scientific community praises disagreement as a way to improve knowledge.”
  5. Fear of difference. “The first appeal of a fascist or prematurely fascist movement is an appeal against the intruders. Thus Ur-Fascism is racist by definition.”
  6. Appeal to social frustration. “One of the most typical features of the historical fascism was the appeal to a frustrated middle class, a class suffering from an economic crisis or feelings of political humiliation, and frightened by the pressure of lower social groups.”
  7. The obsession with a plot. “Thus at the root of the Ur-Fascist psychology there is the obsession with a plot, possibly an international one. The followers must feel besieged.”
  8. The enemy is both strong and weak. “By a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies are at the same time too strong and too weak.”
  9. Pacifism is trafficking with the enemy. “For Ur-Fascism there is no struggle for life but, rather, life is lived for struggle.”
  10. Contempt for the weak. “Elitism is a typical aspect of any reactionary ideology.”
  11. Everybody is educated to become a hero. “In Ur-Fascist ideology, heroism is the norm. This cult of heroism is strictly linked with the cult of death.”
  12. Machismo and weaponry. “Machismo implies both disdain for women and intolerance and condemnation of nonstandard sexual habits, from chastity to homosexuality.”
  13. Selective populism. “There is in our future a TV or Internet populism, in which the emotional response of a selected group of citizens can be presented and accepted as the Voice of the People.”
  14. Ur-Fascism speaks Newspeak. “All the Nazi or Fascist schoolbooks made use of an impoverished vocabulary, and an elementary syntax, in order to limit the instruments for complex and critical reasoning.”

Were they to stupid to get an ID? That is what Democrats claim. Why do you hate Black people?

Delta is the runny dogshit of domestic carriers... and the US airlines are complete shit compared to international airlines.... which makes Delta "runny dogshit squared". I'd rather take an Amish uber loaded on top of a Baltimore city bus being drug by a John Deere tractor than fly with those fucking idiots.

Corporations are legal persons, and, like real persons, have a right to free speech. Saying, "I am a fascist" is not fascist. Favoring fascism is not fascism. Of course, understanding this would mean using the word "fascism" in a consistent way and referring to an objective definition. That has been destroyed by the substitution of "evil" for "fascist". It is now just an epithet without sense.
Corporations speaking out about political things that have nothing to do with their businesses, in order to to keep themselves in the good graces of certain factions of gubmint, is the very essence of fascistic attitudes.

FAIL!
"Fascistic". That is another thing.
Tending towards or similar to or resembling something is one matter; being one is another.
The same goes for other terms, such as "socialist". This word cannot be used in discussion unless specifically to support it or to undermine a topic by diversion. Lenin and Stalin saw to it that "the left" will forever bear the stigma of tyranny as much as "the right" does.

God if we could only do that then Georgia would be a much better state. The Democrats Dirty Tricks Department wouldn't have been able to steal the 2020 Presidential and Senate elections and there wouldn't be hateful low IQ Democrats fucking up everything they touched.

I don't know why we ever allowed Negroes to vote. It was the filthy ass Yankees after the Civil that imposed that disaster on the US.

Only stupid uneducated Moon Bats think that requiring proof that you are a citizen is voter suppression.

Ga voters know they can win. They can do what it takes to beat these laws too.

Reject the Neo-Fascist GOP

That is so much bullshit. Corporations have every right to speak out. They are 100% right in this case.
