Even before November, the once trendy concepts of DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) were already sinking. Now the election of Donald Trump all but guarantees their accelerated decline.
The DEI push gained momentum during the 2020 George Floyd riots, after being nurtured for years on most college campuses. Many companies, including Walmart, adopted its associated practices. But new research from The Conference Board indicates that over half of executives anticipate continuing the pushback of DEI initiatives. Among the firms stepping back from DEI include Boeing, John Deere, Harley-Davidson, and Black & Decker, and the biggest of all, Walmart itself.

The demise of DEI and ESG marks a landmark shift away from a decade of incessant virtue-signalling. The debate should now focus not on some abstract notion of “justice” but on how to make life better for working people of all ages. We can expect hysteria from eco and social justice warriors about the imminent climate catastrophes or the return to Jim Crow, slavery and anti-miscegenation laws. Yet at least for the next four years, the promoters of both ESG and DEI will be on the defensive, as Americans continue to build – on their own – the world’s most prosperous, and dynamic, multi-racial society.

DEI has become a detriment to America and was forced upon us by Neo-Marxist Democrats as part of their "Fundamental Transformation of America".
Let’s not break out the champagne yet. These ticks, termites and roaches never give up. They might hide for a bit but they’ll be back. They require constant systematic fumigation.
No one watches or follows the legacy media except those few seniors who grew up glued to their TV. How many outside of liberal late-stage Boomers watch PBS? Yeah, pretty much nobody. Sure, you can go to a senior center and they’ll have the legacy media blaring at deafening levels in the common area, but other than that, it’s dead.
Biden used a wide brush inserting DEI appointees wherever he could. Obviously it hasn't worked out to well as we have seen.
It's certainly not dead in the federal government, which remains the largest employer in the country. And that's including the military, where DEI has had a real, negative impact on our ability to wage war and defend ourselves against attack.
Now you can kill the gays like you used to.

You leave out the period where White People, being awful, voted for Ike twice. Or that southern whites voted for Carter in 1976 by huge margins. (While Jerry Ford won the west coast states!)

Democrats continued to control Congress up until 1994. (And have retaken it again in 2006 and 2018)

Now, did the Democratic party have to make the hard decision to not appeal to the Inbreds in Jesusland anymore. I guess.

The 1992 riots led to police and justice reform.
the 2020 riots led to more police reform.

Idaho is ahead of the pack when it comes to eliminating affirmative action.

Blacks are less than 1% of Idaho's population, and no one really wants to go to school in Idaho.

Now that affirmative action is leaving the universities, it is important to end it in hiring decisions. No boss should be perssured to hire incompetent Negroes.

Yes, just incompetent white people.

the reality is that most companies will continue to practice some sort of DEI for two reasons.

1) Litigating discrimination cases in court is expensive, and the best way to avoid that is to be able to show that your workplace is diverse.
2) Young people want diversity.

The civil rights legislation was the result of respect Negroes had earned earlier when the civil rights movement was peaceful.

Not really. You see, the funny thing about diversity scoring is that it defends everyone. Why do you think they ask all those questions about race, gender, and veteran status on job application boards?

It so if someone takes them to court, they can show they got so many applications, they interviewed so many people, and they totally weren't discriminating when they gave the job to the boss' idiot nephew.

The reality is, I haven't worked at a place that wasn't majority white in my entire career. A white person would have a very tough row to hoe proving he didn't get the job because he was white.

For Asians... um, guess what, Asian Enrollment DROPPED at some universities after they ended AA.



Here's the problem Asians have. They are only 6% of the population, and 70% of the adults weren't born here. So without AA, they will often have HARDER times getting jobs. Where they excel is at entrepreneurship.

You don't have to feel guilty for things you didn't do. It's pretty pathetic. But there you are.

Meanwhile, you do NOT get to insist that other white people feel guilty for things they didn't do.
 
Once the U.S. Supreme Court rules against affirmative action in hiring, Negroes not hired will have nothing to depend on. All the company that rejected the Negroes will need to do is to show how poorly the Negroes did on objective tests of aptitude and knowledge.
