Dads play key role in child development

Oh really? How can that be? We've had generations of experts telling us that all these single parent homes have no negative effects upon the children. Single mom homes that up a huge percentage in our current society. What will that mean for our future?

My kid came out okay, but he had a relationship with his Dad (when he was sober) and a close relationship with his grandfather, my stepdad. (Who taught him to pee standing up when he was 4--I forgot that part.) I imagine most of these "single parent homes" involve male relatives or boyfriends, although it's true I've never known a single person who'd lost or never had a particular parent who didn't yearn for it, or have questions about it.
