A virtual network is set up and configured very much like an in house network. Not sure which service they used but I don't think they set and maintained their own server farm.

very possible but i would doubt 1400 servers were in it. a few high powered ones could run domain controllers, e-mail servers, redundancy and so forth. whether they did this on a span of physical servers or just a few tanks and spun up VMware all over, i have no idea but that's what I was asking Lesh how they had it set up since he seems to know everything about it.

thank you. this isn't *all* the details I was looking for but you don't normally get a lot of details on how people setup their IT departments unless you're working for them. what i would like to see i fully understand is quite likely never to happen, and i've been in IT long enough to know that too and this is about as close as we're going to get w/o a "leak".
