I think the best way to steal an election is to promise a bunch of things like: no new wars; draining the swamp; lowering inflation and gas prices; making America prosperous; and, most of all, Making America Great Again. Sound really sincere. Sell a bunch of merchandise. Have most of America vote for you. Then, after you get into office, just pull the rug out from under your voters and do your own thing and follow a completely different agenda.

This strategy has proven to work quite well.
