Since illegals don't commit many crimes, what Trump is doing is not the reason why crime has fallen in those cities. Red towns have crime. And the highest crime seems to occur in red towns.

I noticed how PG County, MD made that list. We are predominantly minority, mostly black and highspanic so the combination of national guard in neighboring DC along with removal of many illegals from the county would naturally account for the drop in crime.
Still among the highest crime in the state and worst performing schools despite a median income 30% above the national average.

The reason PG county has the worst performing schools AND a high median income is because you have tons of very mediocre couples working for the federal government, which prioritizes hiring blacks and other non-whites, and pays a lot more than private industry.
