Arizona is full of nuts with guns. I was there. Anyone hanging around a voting place would spook people. Too many dangerous nuts there.

It's funny, for a place filled with "nuts with guns" you don't hear about many shootings involving law-abiding citizens. It seems like the more "nuts with guns" you have running around; the safer things are. Maybe it's because criminals don't trust average citizens not to shoot them when they accost the civilian. Arizona is a mixture of open and concealed carry; you don't even need a CCW permit to carry concealed anymore.

Oh, I remember that one clearly. Rossi won the election and the first two recounts. Gregoire's campaign was out of money, and the Kerry campaign funded the 3rd count that gave the election to Gregoire. Multiple lawsuits in the courts, and it dragged out for a long time.

Dems have no problem challenging the election when it doesn't suit them.

ACORN had what they called the "Precinct Project", beginning in 2000. It was on their website. They identified specific precincts in key states and concentrated on those neighborhoods with their registration drives and ballot harvesting. It was not a random thing at all, it was very precise targeting of individual voters and they knew the number they had to hit to flip each precinct.

Kind of the precursor to the Big Data driven campaign that Obama ran in 2008.
