You can pickup a replacement ballot at the elections office, and you can drop a ballot off at the elections office. Disabled voters can vote there by machine.

There are some places they do voter registrations, but you have to drop the ballot off in a drop box or put it in the mail. There are no "voting booths" in those places, they are not voting locations. They may have a drop box, that's all.

All registered voters in Washington receive their ballots in the mail. Everyone.

We do not have precinct level voting. There are no voting sites like other States have. There are a handful of locations where voters can go to get help with registrations but they are not voting sites, whatever the SoS wants to call them. People don't vote in-person in WA anymore. We haven't for a long time- ask any member here who is from WA if you don't believe me.

Actually I'm pretty sure it was somebody in support of trump. The idea here is to force surveillance on the boxes which I'm sure the FBI is doing right now. This creates a public record that can be forced loose by a freedom of information act. So the FBI actually becomes the monitor of the voting boxes even against their will at this point. It's very clever however the perpetrator will definitely do some years in jail when they catch him and they absolutely will catch him.

I don't see anything wrong with any of that. You need ID to register and you have to be searchable in the state's data banks. This is more a product of modern technology than it is of politics. It's not a bad thing.

If that is the case, the FBI would simply choose to monitor certain ones and not others. I don’t have much confidence in our federal agencies to be non-partisan at this point. Thank you Obama and every Democrat since.

I don't know I think this guy aced them.
It's very inexpensive nowadays to set up a monitoring station you don't even need a person. But they can't do it without leaving a paper trail which leaves everything open to freedom of information act.

So even if they manage to scare away the camera's toting conservatives there will still be cameras trained on the boxes.

It's a brilliant move. But one that will likely cost this fellow several years in prison.
