It's not border patrol, it's the Texas Catholic charities in McAllen that tests the children that we are keeping, and the charity is placing them with families, because they came without any adults or parents. Before Delta, it was running 8%, but now with the delta variant it is running 16% for the kids.

Families crossing and adults alone crossing are pretty much being deported immediately via title 42 for the most part, without any consideration of the threat in their home country. Progressives are pissed at Biden for him using Title 42 as expulsion of asylum seekers.

Unaccompanied children are being kept and given their chance in court for asylum. We ship them to Charities, with notice, in to other states...

BUT the policy is those NGO charities test the children immigrants when they arrive at the charity via bus.....

Delta is actually being "spread" by everyone, including the vaccinated and the masked. Now if you want to talk about hospitalizations and deaths, your post would be more accurate. Definitely! The vaccinated should continue to take the mediation steps of masking indoors and at minimum 6ft of separation, and sanitizing hands to reduce the spread that could be coming from them and to reduce their chance of catching it, and making themselves a spreader! Delta variant is definitely making all heads spin...nothing about this virus variant is the same as previous versions, and we must take note of it!

They are tested when they arrive at the NGO,

in McAllen Texas, it is Catholic Charities as the NGO that takes them in to find foster homes for them or relatives to be placed with...

they test all of them after they arrive on the bus, but before they let them in to the Charity to temporarily live. If the asylum seeker tests positive, the charity has hotels set up to put them in to isolation, until they are covid free I had read earlier in the month.

My wish, would be they were tested when they arrive in the USA before they are bused. But I can understand how it could cause a complete bottle neck and chaos, and without enough hotels at the common illegal crossing points to isolate all of these children without adults, that could be infectious.... That's why they seem to be pushing the testing on to the states receiving them, perhaps?

Even so, I'd like to see them figure out a solution, and test when they arrive...instead of later at their destination.
