The courts ruled that ACCORDING TO THE LAW, the governor has authority to change election rules in an emergency, e.g., a pandemic. If the governor did nothing he could be accused of hurting election integrity by disenfranchising a segment of the electorate.

It not complicated. Each state has election laws to handle election disputes and accusations that we have relied on to peacefully resolve long before the transfer of power is scheduled to occur. Relying on the American system is not simple rejecting the accusations. It's worked peacefully for the most part since the beginning of the union.

They also established that these same phones made trips to party sites during these late night runs to multiple ballot drop boxes.
