Rev. 8:10-11. A "star" named wormwood falls on the rivers and springs. In the past, stars were used to represent rulers, such as in Isaiah 14:2 where the Babylonian ruler is called a star. In the prophecy of the Messiah arising from Judah is also referring to Jesus coming as a ruler. (Numbers 24:17) Jesus is referred to as the "morning star" (Rev. 22:16)I was reading that Wormwood in Russian translates to Chernobyl.
Could it be that Wormwood will actually be a nuclear weapon and not a star from space?
Could Wormwood in the bible be referring to a ICBM?

Since a weed is like a vine that chokes off and kills other more productive plants in the garden it is ironic, problematic and an excellent clue that Jesus in John 15 is compared to a vine. These poisonous wormwood like teachings( fruit that they bear) are mentioned in Deuteronomy 32 where they are compared to Sodom and Gommorah…Wormwood is a bitter poisonous deadly weed.
In context of talking about a fallen star (messenger/teacher), it means the teachings will cause people to become like Wormwood=bitter -toxic -deadly.
Thousands of wars and over 50 million murders through these teachings it easy to see who was the first fallen messiah claimed "the Fallen" morning star-Rev 22:16

Even though we know by now that you cannot tell the truth and always mix up lies and falsehoods with half truths to try to get your points across you actually for once brought up a good question…Simply put all the warts and blemishes of each individual is kept in the forefront of the Jewish scriptures so that everyone can see that each of them were fully human with all their frailties and shortcomings.. Judaism does not teach a sinless perfect human being like Christianity tries to do..( This is a very very bad teaching)This goes for cities and their inhabitants as well…Keeping chapter 16 in Ezekiel in context after reading such chapters as Ezekiel 8 where many of the sins of the people that inhabited that city are recounted will give everyone a better idea as to why Jerusalem is symbolically compared to Sodom.. Remember Abraham asked G-d to not destroy the city of Sodom if he could find so many righteous people but he did not meet that requirement so the story goes….Maybe there was not enough righteous people left in Sodom to rescind that sentence or no one was willing to repent regardless of the reasons Jerusalem at that time had many iniquities choosing one or another is silly the bottom line is to repent, return and to try to not do that sin whatever it is again…. After all one should RETURN to the G-d ofAbraham Isaac and Jacob and by doing so the G-D of Abraham Isaac and Jacob shall RETURN to you…Jerusalem is used in many ways to teach certain ideals and concepts so that we all learn from their mistakes and do not follow in those errors.. Sort of like teaching your children right from wrong and punishing them when they misbehave and rewarding them when they do what is right ……
Why does God refer to Jerusalem as Sodom in various verses in Ezekiel 16? Did Jerusalem become as bad or worse than Sodom was, but God did not destroy them because of his promise to Abraham? Homosexual activists always cite this chapter as "evidence" that God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah for homosexuality, but because they did not care for the poor.
