In a tight game like that, as a referee you know that a call can change the outcome of the game, you have to be absolutely sure you are making the right call, and the ref did the oppposite.

I'm watching the basketball game. All year I've heard about Cooper Flagg. The young man is a great player and has a bright future. But I am going to say this to you right wing whites:

Let this young man play basketball without making him the saviour of the white race in sports. If he has a 30-point game in the NBA don't start making him greater than Jordan. White racists have messed up some real good athletes trying to make them into white hopes. You ruined Jerry Cooney, pushing him into a title fight way too early, and you're trying to mess up Caitlyn Clark. Let them play and STFU, because they didn't ask to be the saviours of whiteness.

DUKE always getting to play at Greensboro and gifted easy brackets. Probably two DUKE titles were simply gifted to them? About time they got some of their own medicine.

HOU should get huge credit for hanging in there down by 10 pts or more late. HOU big guy made clutch free throws late. DUKE did not. DUKE had trouble in-bounding the ball. HOU made a couple of late 3pt baskets when it was a do or die. DUKE collapsed more than HOU in the last few minutes missing shots. The defense on Flaggs last shot was pretty good and HOU got the rebound.

Can they keep it up vs. FLA (twin towers?). Probably will be closer than many expect. I think HOU had another big guy on the bench too?

I agree with you that given the way the game was being called......that call could have been avoided. But that did not win or lose the game.

DUKE did not do enough late to win. If you can't inbound the ball or make free throws?

The review on the foul earlier where they gave Houston 2 shots and the ball after a made 3 pointer, was huge. Duke went from up 14 to up 7 on that possession, I think

No question, that was an incredible comeback. Cryer kept them in contact when Duke looked like they would pull away. Then Sharp was the closer.

The more I think about it that late call on Flagg did give HOU 1&1 late 3.8sec? HOU had to make both. DUKE no TO. Had little chance to get full court three off. It has to be a big foul to call that.
