I see the MOU with Iran as a step towards peace in the Middle East and stability for world energy supplies. Why do any of you see it as a "bad deal" for the US? Please be specific and indicate what alternatives you now support.

It does nothing Trump set out to do

No regime change
Iran still had nuclear capability
It gives Iran the Strait
It gives Iran $300 billion

A surrender by Trump

THERE IS NO DEAL WITH IRAN!

Why is it that no one comprehends this?

In other words, you have no opinion of the MOU and no idea how to improve upon it. Why are you posting here?
The MOU is nothing more than a laundry list of topics THAT WILL be discussed at the negotiating table.

What is in it now is likely not to be in the final deal.

I'll give you an opinion on THAT, as it is the ONLY thing worth commenting on here.

It's not a great MOU for the USA or for Trump. Not even good.
It is nothing more than a list of items to negotiate.

Nothing on it has been agreed to or can be enforced.

But it does give everyone a buffer. Personally, I thought this thing should have been over by now with a new government in Iran. Trump screwed up, bigly. Now is the time for the right to express its displeasure at any negotiated point that does not meet with our approval. List those items out and write or call the White House.

As for the MOU, it is worthless, like toilet paper.

Frankly, I'm amazed at the dust-up over it.

I agree with RightWinger.

Darkwind will "fake news" this, but it is all true.

It's not just worthless paper. Tomorrow, the straight will be open to Iranian shipping without any restrictions. You can call that an agreement, or understanding or toilet paper. But the ships are sailing through and our Iran will profit from that and our boot is off of Iran's neck.

And the American public will quiet down when the prices start dropping even faster than they are right now.

Trump answers for this country, and his ignoring the economics of it will cost us all our freedom if the Dems win the midterms.

They could have opened the straights at any time had Trump done his effin job right. But that is under the bridge now, and what is important is that the US has NOT agreed to a damn thing. Pulling back the blockade will help us.
