Trump--only pardons the very bestest criminals~

A New Jersey man who was twice convicted of defrauding investors out of $230 million and whose lengthy prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump is once again facing fraud charges, federal prosecutors in New Jersey announced Wednesday.
Eliyahu “Eli” Weinstein, 48, of Lakewood, who is also known as Mike Konig, is among five men accused of defrauding dozens of investors out of $35 million, according to an arrest complaint unsealed in federal court in Trenton. The five are charged with wire fraud conspiracy and conspiracy to obstruct justice, and each could face up to 25 years in prison.
Philip Sellinger, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, said Weinstein used a fake name and falsely promised access to deals involving scarce medical supplies, baby formula and first-aid kits supposedly destined for wartime Ukraine.
“These were brazen and sophisticated crimes that involved multiple conspirators and drew right from Weinstein’s playbook of fraud,” Sellinger said.

Weinstein, Aryeh “Ari” Bromberg, 49, of Lakewood, and Shlomo Erez, 55, a citizen and resident of Israel, were due to make their initial court appearances Wednesday. Two others — Joel Wittels, 57, of Lakewood, and Alaa Hattab, 34, of Otttawa, Canada — remain at large. It wasn’t known if they have retained attorneys.

It's 50/50 how much is true.

  • Prosecutors say that a convicted Ponzi schemer that Trump got out of prison defrauded people again.
  • Prosecutors allege that Eliyahu "Eli" Weinstein even admitted to his crime on tape.
  • Trump's commutation of Weinstein's sentence was one of his final acts as president.
Former President Donald Trump commuted Eliyahu "Eli" Weinstein's sentence as one of his final acts in office, a decision that enraged the prosecutor who helped put Weinstein in prison over a $230 million Ponzi scheme.
Federal prosecutors said on Wednesday that shortly after Trump helped him get released, Weinstein concocted another scheme. And now, once again, Weinstein is facing charges related to allegedly defrauding investors.
"We allege Mr. Weinstein took part in a new scheme to rip off investors by hiding his real identity," Special in Charge James E. Dennehy of the Newark FBI said in a press release. "He was aware his actions were against the terms of his release on a previous investment fraud conviction, and we allege he engaged in criminal activity anyway."

Trump's commutation of Weinstein's sentence led to his release after serving less than eight years of a 24-year sentence. The New York Times held up Trump's action as indicative of the then-president's approach to pardons and commutations that gave priority to those with money, power, or connections to Trump and his allies.

MSN! Are you saying none of it is true?

Do lefties really want to open the fraudster can 'o worms while Sam Bankman Fried is apparently enjoying house arrest after defrauding Americans out of billions in a bit/coin scam and donating millions to democrat candidates including Biden?

Meanwhile the Biden Administration is allowing our southern border states to be flooded with Cartel members, fentanyl, child traffickers, rapists, murderers and terrorists.

The media made a big deal out of apprehending Bankman-Fried in his expensive digs in the Virgin Islands and then he disappeared off the radar. It's alleged the Bankman-Fried defrauded Americans out of billions in a Bit/Coin scam and donated millions to democrat candidates including Biden. The media apparently isn't interested but the least the DOJ can do is to recommend that democrat candidate refund the dirty money. That ain't happnin and Bankman-Fried's trial doesn't seem to be on the agenda in the near future.

Republicans have no power to set criminals free. The criminalized DOJ apparently refuses to bring suspected criminals like Bankman-Fried to trial to protect the Biden administration
Um...retard?

Sam Bankman-Fried's trial date is October 2.

Goddam! Before you tards manufacture bullshit, you really should check the news outside of your lying propagandists, you know?

When will you idiots ever learn?

Trump will always pardon a reprobate.
