Truth be told, we do not "love Trump", there is no candidate that is perfect, and he has more personality flaws than most pols, not to mention his slow learning curve. However, Trump was the perfect DC outsider in 2016, a non-globalist, independently wealthy (from K-street), a bull in the China shop that we needed to change the "entrenched establishment" of both parties in DC.
As a progressive you may not like his list of "promises kept", but the economy, trade deals and military are doing well, with immigration reform, Obamacare, and the Budget Deficit needing to be fixed.
