Congressional Budget Office says the "Big Beautiful Bill" would give to the rich and take away from the poor

I just don’t know what dembot line to believe, yours or the OPs
CBO estimates that household resources would decrease by an amount equal to about 2 percent of income in the lowest decile (tenth) of the income distribution in 2027 and 4 percent in 2033, mainly as a result of losses of in-kind transfers, such as Medicaid and SNAP (see the figure).3 By contrast, resources would increase by an amount equal to 4 percent for households in the highest decile in 2027 and 2 percent in 2033, mainly because of reductions in they taxes they owe.

They do not make such interpretations nor declarations so the thread title is a false and fake attribution

I don't have a party and you're getting assfucked with no grease....Doesn't bring me any joy to say that, but its the way it is.
Not me....didn't sell a thing and 401k up 25% and rising. You whiners need a new vintage.

And yet the wealthy pay a larger portion of federal income taxes collected and the bottom half pay
no net federal income taxes.
It’s a nice emotional boost to broke ass deadbeats to prattle on about the productive paying their “fair share” If anything we already overpay to take care of your pathetic asses.

Its your nonstop Trump whine, just like all the other TDS loons on here....your "take" is TDS.
I don't whine about Trump much at all, to the point that the shitlibs always call me a Trumpster.

Not being able to take a straight and honest critique of Trump is exactly why some facile-minded dopes say that you're cultists...Wake the fuck up....Your boy is far from a perfect vehicle, and this "Big Beautiful Bill" is a steaming swampy shit heap.

A fresh analysis from the Congressional Budget Office said the tax provisions would increase the federal deficit by $3.8 trillion over the decade, while the changes to Medicaid, food stamps and other services would tally $1 trillion in reduced spending. The lowest-income households in the U.S. would see their resources drop, while the highest ones would see a boost, the CBO said.

Of course, the repubs wanted to pass the bill without the insight of the CBO. But the Dems asked for an analysis. It is no surprise the bill will be opposite of Robin Hood's venture. The repubs, as usual, are shooting themselves in the foot. If this bill passes, as it is, there will be a red bloodbath in 2026, beginning in November in Virginia. This bill, coupled with the inflation expected from trump's tariffs will seal the deal.
Even beautiful girls and handsome guys are not perfect. So, what can we expect? :)

👉 President Donald Trump's "One Big, Beautiful Bill" in 2025 is a comprehensive legislative package primarily focused on tax cuts, immigration enforcement, and border security, fulfilling many of his campaign promises. Below is an overview of the bill’s key features along with its pros and cons:

👉 Key Features of the One Big, Beautiful Bill

Tax Cuts and Reforms

• Makes permanent the tax cuts from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

• Exempts workers earning less than $160,000 from federal income tax on tips.

• Raises the state and local tax (SALT) deduction cap from $10,000 to $30,000 for joint filers earning under $400,000.

• Creates MAGA savings accounts for parents to save for their children’s expenses with an initial $1,000 pilot program.

• Provides historic tax relief to Social Security recipients by reducing taxes on their benefits.

• Ends $500 billion in Biden-era tax breaks and special interest giveaways to wealthy individuals, corporations, and foreign entities.

Medicaid and Social Programs

• Imposes new work requirements on able-bodied Medicaid recipients aged 19-64 without dependents (80 hours per month).

• Requires states to redetermine Medicaid eligibility every 6 months.

• Cuts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funding by an estimated $230 billion over 10 years, potentially affecting school lunch programs.

• Removes at least 1.4 million illegal immigrants from Medicaid eligibility to reduce waste and fraud.

Border Security and Immigration

• Allocates nearly $50 billion to resume construction of Trump’s border wall, including 701 miles of primary wall and other barriers.

• Funds hiring of 10,000 new ICE officers, 5,000 customs officers, and 3,000 Border Patrol agents, including bonuses.

• Imposes a $1,000 fee on migrants seeking asylum, a novel policy in the U.S.

• Aims to deport millions of illegal immigrants and restrict taxpayer benefits to illegal immigrants by requiring Social Security numbers for tax credits.

Other Provisions

• Modernizes air traffic control systems.

• Prohibits Medicaid funding for gender transition procedures for minors.

• Increases taxes on large university endowments and certain non-profits.

• Promotes American energy dominance by repealing Biden-era methane taxes and unlocking federal lands for oil and gas development.

👉 ● Pros ●

Economic Growth and Tax Relief

• Provides permanent tax cuts and increases take-home pay, especially benefiting middle-income earners ($30,000–$80,000) with about a 15% tax reduction.

• Eliminates federal income tax on tips and overtime pay, boosting workers’ net income.

• Supports energy sector growth by reducing regulatory burdens and promoting domestic production.

Border Security and Immigration Enforcement

• Provides substantial funding to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and increase immigration enforcement personnel, fulfilling long-standing Republican priorities.

• Introduces measures to reduce illegal immigration and associated public spending waste.

Medicaid and Social Program Reforms

• Aims to reduce Medicaid fraud and abuse by tightening eligibility and work requirements, potentially saving hundreds of billions over a decade.

• Removes illegal immigrants from taxpayer-funded benefits, aligning with Trump’s campaign promises.

Other Social Policies

• Prohibits taxpayer funding for gender transition procedures for minors, appealing to conservative social policy supporters.

• Modernizes critical infrastructure like air traffic control.

👉 ● Cons ●

Impact on Low-Income and Vulnerable Populations

• Medicaid work requirements and more frequent eligibility checks could lead to millions (estimates over 8 million) losing coverage, disproportionately affecting low-income Americans and those with disabilities.

• SNAP cuts totaling $230 billion over 10 years may reduce food assistance and negatively impact school lunch programs, harming children and vulnerable families.

Fiscal Concerns

• Making 2017 tax cuts permanent without increasing taxes on the wealthiest adds trillions to the federal deficit over the next decade, raising concerns among fiscal hawks.

• Raising the SALT deduction cap could worsen the deficit, despite pressure from representatives of high-tax states.

Controversial Immigration Fees and Enforcement

• The $1,000 asylum application fee is unprecedented and may face legal and humanitarian criticism.

• Aggressive immigration enforcement and deportation goals could lead to social disruption and legal challenges.

👉 Potential Political and Legislative Challenges

The bill faces significant opposition and negotiation hurdles in Congress, with the Senate expected to alter it substantially.

Nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reviews are ongoing, and final impacts remain uncertain.

Summary

Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill is a sweeping legislative effort combining major tax cuts, stringent immigration enforcement, and social program reforms. It promises economic relief for many middle- and upper-middle-class Americans and advances hardline border security measures. However, it also risks reducing benefits for millions of low-income individuals, increasing the federal deficit, and sparking controversy over immigration policies and social program cuts 12358.

I believe the CBO office was clear, the two percent reduction in household wealth to the lowest ten percent of wage earnings can be directly attributed to loss of Medicaid and SNAP benefits. Yet the highest ten percent of income earners see their wealth increase by four percent of their income initially, leveling off to two percent in later years.

And that whole bit about the rich pay the bulk of income taxes, damn skippy, that is a problem. But what the rich won't tell you, they pay far less of their income in taxes than they did before. They damn happy things are the way they are. So that dog ain't going to hunt no more in these woods.
