Raising the standard deduction helps lower income people.

And the CBO does no dynamic scoring.

They don't account for the explosive GDP growth that is going to follow as a consequence of passing this bill.

A rising GDP raises wages and allows people to take risks.

In fact, most of the bill just preserves the current tax cuts.

The only wealthy people who gain are Blue State Democrats who get a cap raise on the SALT tax deduction.

And there's no taxes on tips (not for rich people), and new interest tax deductions on American made cars.

Also up to $4,000 deductible on SSI.

All of that helps regular Americans.

The reality is most of the bill is just preventing the vast majority of us from being hit with higher taxes when the current law expires.

Boring, dry stuff.

But hardly the French aristocracy incarnate.

Just as the CBO was wrong in Trump's first term - they will be wrong again.

Only this time by a far wider margin.
