If Christ existed, he was not a person of the stature of the Great Reagan. According to biblical mythology, he acted only in Palestine, the Roman province Judea at that time, and he was not even known in the metropolis itself, unless the procurator reported to the Roman authorities about him. He did nothing significant in politics and in Palestine itself. He had only a small group of followers.

This is incomparable with Reagan's personality. Reagan actually made a world revolution and changed the entire world order. Reagan is a global and historical figure. Undoubtedly, he is orders of magnitude higher than Christ (if Christ existed).

Reagan is practically unknown by anyone under thirty.
What are you talking, moron? Reagan was known to the whole world already during his lifetime, but Christ was not known even outside of Judea, and in Judea itself, not everyone knew. He was advertisize much later than his life (if he existed)

How many visit memorials to Ronald Reagan each week? When the Lincoln exhibit was in the Reagan Library, in eleven weeks 100,000 visited the exhibit. (Note it took two people, both Reagan and Lincoln, to draw in a hundred thousand people in eleven weeks.) Meanwhile, each week there are more than five million people people who go to pay their respects to and honor Jesus.

One lived in the age of air travel and television. The other had neither. How well do you expect Reagan would have been known if he had to travel everywhere on foot?

Christ was massively learned only later, at least about 5 centuries after his death. This is even if we assume that the Arians and the katars also worshiped him (which is doubtful). In ancient Rome, it was not mainstream, there was Mithraism and Roman Politeism.

Give Reagan that time, and the entire Universe, including the inhabitants of Alpha Centauri, will know him.

Maybe you should found a church devoted to Saint Ronnie and see what happens.

This does not negate his scale and the scale of his deeds.
I think that everyone knew the Roman Emperor at that time.

I've always said Donald Trump and Jesus have more in common in that they were both horribly and unjustly treated by the leftwingers of their day, despite doing only good in their jobs and having the best intentions for people. Both were great threats to the leftwing power structure of their day. Both had large devoted followings. And no doubt the left would crucify Trump if they could.

The rightists would have crucified him faster.

It would be strange for them not to know him, this is their left god
