The 6 year old, 13 year old and a young man murdered by a gun lost their right to life, liberty and happiness.

Common sense gun regulations may not prevent a monster from getting a gun, but no regulations assure a monster will get a gun and kill innocent people.

It's past time to reevaluate the Second Amendment, and to face the reality that the majority of members of Congress put their job security first, in spite of the costs in blood and treasure that their inaction allows. There is enough ambiguity in the wording of the 2nd to allow Congress, and/or State Legislatures or City Councils to pass regulations which protect the people they represent.

Then let the NRA go broke defending their outdated policies.

Bubble dwelling is ghey s0n.....thank God your type is in the distinct minority.:flirtysmile4::rock::rock:

Gun crime has been dropping since the 80s. I see no need to reevaluate the second amendment.

Here's another 2nd Amendment Celebration now!

We live in a country of over 330 million people. Bad shit is going to happen. It remains a fact that gun crime has been dropping since the 80s. The left's crusade against firearms is emotional hogwash.

"Shall not be infringed" doesn't exist in a vacuum. There's a qualifying clause that leaves plenty of ambiguity, particularly as there was no standing army, and the militiae of the day were instruments of the State. Modern activist judges chose to ignore the militia clause.

400,000,000 guns/125,000,000+ gun owners vs 11,000 gun homicides = not even a blip.

Media magnify local events into national crises to jack up ratings. There is no national crisis.

"emotional hogwash"? Is having empathy for the killed, wounded and their loved ones is emotional hogwash, in you opinion? If so you are the epitome of a callous conservative, aka, sociopaths.

It seems you are out of touch with reality, since the shall not infringe includes more weapons than guns. Restrictions apply to deny or require a license to own an automatic firearm, fragmentation grenades, Surface to Air Missiles, these and other weapons of war are infringed by laws and regulations. Push button and gravity knives, and nunchocks are illegal in many states and communities too. A gun is just one of many "arms" and many of these arms are restricted or outlawed.

I'd never move to another country, even when people like you live here. You're just a temporary pimple on one's butt, and thus not relevant in the total life experience living in the United States.

those are infringments and those that imposed them should be shot for treason

And what will you, in your apparent infinite wisdom, suggest "we" do to prevent gangs, narco-terrorists, jihadists and the legions of average street thugs from obtaining weapons by the shipment, illegally? Will you reply, upon discovery of certain thefts of military hardware finding its way on sale on the streets claim "that's a problem for the military to solve?" Or what about crates of guns purchased by Central and South American rebel forces decades ago mysteriously used in murders on the streets of our cities? Congratulations, you've identified the pin pricking American Society, while wholly ignoring the entire sword point. Of course, that's how accumulation of political currency in service of ideology always works.

You realize of course that the communities that have some of the strictest gun laws have the most fun violence. Also the places with the less strict laws are safer. You know that right?

Tell this ^^^ to the victims who survived Las Vegas and now Gilroy, the famllies of those killed by monsters whose right to own a gun murdered scores of innocent people in classrooms, at concerts, at food fairs, eating at McDonalds or attending church.
