"In her most extensive remarks since she conceded the race to Donald J. Trump early Wednesday, Mrs. Clinton told donors on a 30-minute conference call that Mr. Comey’s decision to send a letter to Congress about the inquiry 11 days before Election Day had thrust the controversy back into the news and had prevented her from ending the campaign with an optimistic closing argument.

“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Mrs. Clinton said, according to a donor who relayed the remarks. But, she added, “our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.”

Of course the loss has nothing to do with Hillary being ineffectual, dishonest and corrupt.

She lost fair and square, this is just sour grapes.

It was a different story when she was trying to win by smearing Trump with the help of Gloria Allred. Don't be surprised when nobody hears from those whores again.

Her poll numbers had been collapsing in the weeks before Comey's letter. You never know but there was very little in the exit polling that pointed at Comey's letter being the deal breaker for Hillary. She was the architect of her own demise.

Are you saying she committed political suicide?

Nope

she was climbing back up in the polls before Comey's unprecedented actions, and that letter of his sent the polls in the opposite direction...you cant lie about that, the numbers are clear as day...

She lost because she was a terrible candidate with more baggage than Delta Airlines.

She never articulated anything of substance either domestic or foreign.

The only things she talked about was raising taxes, letting the illegals flood in, kiss the ass of BLM, giving away free stuff, hate the NRA and letting in a million Muslims.

The only thing that America was going to get out of the bitch was a continuation of Obama's failed policy. By now most of America is sick of that.

Comey didn't screw her. She screwed herself for being corrupt, dishonest and incompetent. I mean who in their right mind would vote for the Bitch of Benghazi?

Nope, polls clearly show Comey letter effect, combined with Trumps new found ability to shut the fuck up really took a bite out of Clinton's lead

Comey played dirty and arguably even illegally, media let America down in how it covered that about-nothing letter.

She simply lost...if your theory were supportable Trump would have lost die to the "late in the day" sexual assault allegation.

No he didn't, he could've done everything he did and not cause any undue commotions by simply writing a clear letter, one that stated clearly that absolutely no new evidence against Hillary was found at the time of writing. Americans were falsely lead to believe that the case was re-opened based on some new evidence against Hillary.

he also could have been EVEN HANDED in equally disclosing warrants out for investigating Trump's Russian connections.

When you are FBI director you can do as you wish, Comey did his job in exemplary fashion.

OK, I'll bite. Prove that the letter dropped her numbers. Fact is you can't. Correlation doesn't equal causation. There were tons of emails leaked that showed what was really going on behind the scenes in the upper crust of Democrats. Plus a long ongoing investigation of their corrupt foundation.

Plus the fact that the polling was all bullshit to begin with. How big of a clue do you need? It's obvious they tried to effect the outcome and polled the way they wanted it to go. They assumed more Dems would show up and she would have the same support from blacks obama did, while completely ignoring the massive crowds Trump was drawing, sometimes with only a day in advanced notice.

What connections? And you disagree with the president that Comey is a man of integrity? What do you know he doesn't?

If I had to give one person credit for this election I would give it to Director James Comey, yes.

Good for him.

He realized that the US Supreme Court and the US Constitution were both at stake.

That not even remotely approaching an actual argument, you are just repeating naked assertion that Comey did nothing wrong while completely ignoring what I've said.
