I have no doubt that Russia and other countries “interfered” or engaged in tactics to at least influence the 2016 and other Elections. Are Democrats naive enough to believe that countries didn’t do the same in ‘20 and won’t do the same in future Elections?

They absolutely do not care if Russia or any other nation interfere, as long as their nominee won. Apparently, in their minds, if a democrat wins, it's the right outcome and interference doesn't matter. A Republican winning, however, is proof that there was some kind of cheating involved and it must be rooted out so it never happens again.

Evidence? In '16, it was Russia!, Russia!, Russia! for years. We spent millions trying to prove the president was involved. It was the greatest attack on our electoral system since people stopped wearing white after Labor Day. Then we were told confidently that TRUMP! was doing nothing to stop Russia from doing it again. Then, 2020 happened. Did anyone hear a peep from the blamemainstreet media about Russia! hacking or interfering? I didn't, not a peep. So which of the following happened?

1. TRUMP! looked Putin in the eye, said "back off" and Putin said, "Okay, we won't do anything".
2. We beefed up our election security systems to the point they were impregnable and the government let all of the media in on it and told them not to say anything.
3. The Russians decided on their own not to do anything and the press was told not to say anything.
4. The democrat won.

It is impossible to believe they would have been silent had TRUMP! pulled out a victory. We'd have had another multi-year, multi-million dollar investigation into how it could have happened, woe is us, etc.

We're the big dog on the block, OF COURSE every nation in the world would do whatever it could to influence our election in ways that would favor them.
