Chuck Schumer is going to force Democrats to go on record on trashing the filibuster.

What does "on the record" mean to the democrat party elitists? Every vote is "on the record" but it seems that Schumer is promising something else.

Actually these voting rights bills have nothing at all to do with voting rights, if you can vote now you can vote tomorrow whether these bills pass or not. No state has passed a single bill that takes away anyone's voting rights.
Let's see...Georgia is usurping the Fulton County Board of elections...and replacing it with Republican state control. Fulton being the largest Democratic district in Georgia.
That means they control how many machines (or how few) are available in Fulton Country

Numerous states are curtailing voting days and voting times. Making it harder to vote absentee (still during a pandemic)

Legal voters are being purged. All in Republican run states and all benefiting Republican election chances...

so yea...it's needed.

Bring some links, Dumbass.

Nobody believes your bullshit. Nobody.

Because you asked so nice (you piece of shit)

I was looking to links to the actual laws you claim are taking voting rights away, not some hysterical leftist moron's opinion piece.

Back to the drawing board, Boris.

That link had links to ALL those bills retard

Just admit you got spanked and move along.

Oh wait...trolls don't do that

Your link had ZERO links to any actual bill, liar.

There were links to other dimtard's hyperventilating about your fictitious voter suppression bills.

Got any actual BILLS that you can post to back up your bullshit? I"m guessing you don't, because linking to the actual bills would expose your bullshit. That's why you rely on leftist opinion pieces.

What is Chucky smoking? Several Dems have been very evasive on their position because they know supporting this would be toxic with voters at home. The filibuster isn't going anywhere. He doesn't have the votes in his own party. He knows this.

So why is he forcing Dem Senators to expose how they would vote? Dumbest political move in quite a while, and Republicans are loving every second of it.

Chuck Schumer is a whiner not a doer.

Why do people wait until 30 minutes before the polls are closed to vote?
Do they also make in their diapers?
Jobs, families...they've been waiting on line for four hours (because republicans cut the number of polling places and machines...

Lots of reasons

Why do you not want legal voters to have every opportunity to vote. It's the basis of democracy

Bullshit; they're the same people who waited on line at supermarkets for hours during daylight during COVID.
They don't have to wait till the last second to vote.

So the changes to the filibuster did not pass. That means that the Democrats will not pass the second most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics, to paraphrase Joe Biden.

:laughing0301:

While this is politically a dumb move....

It is good to see actual voting on important matters taking place. Like it would be good to see an actual debate on the voting rights bill in the Senate...and then a vote. What a concept...bills being voted on!

I'm all for keeping the filibuster if we're going to have a Senate. I'm on record as thinking we don't need a senate... There is no reason we need a senate outside of the constitutional creation of one. We'd be fine with just the House. But as it stands now...keep the filibuster but lets be adults enough to use it sparingly or pass rules to make sure it is used sparingly if we can't be adults.
