Just about every year, I subscribe to 2 or 3 magazines that I do not currently get. I like the actual magazines that are mailed to me (tablet versions are fine and often enhance the magazine but I prefer physical hard copy). I have to admit, I think I have run the gamut of the usual suspects over the last 5-10 years....

Popular Mechanics
Esquire
GQ
Rolling Stone
Vanity Fair
Vogue
Readers Digest
Prevention
Time

I am looking for something new and different.

The current subscriptions I have are

Prevention
Readers Digest
Garden and Gun
Magnolia
Southern Living
Better Homes and Gardens

Does anyone have any suggestions for moderately priced magazines that are engaging and fun to read? I'm looking for something below $50 for a year (I budget $100 for the 2-3 subscriptions). It can be pretty much anything outside of music or celebrity gossip (no People, Us, or Spin).

Any rec's will be appreciated.

Real magazines that you can order.

Modern Drunkard.... I have to look that one up...how would you like to have that on your resume:

Editor in Chief--Modern Drunkard Magazine!

Hahaha, ok candy corn, you do have a sense of humor, after all!

But in all seriousness, I would recommend:

Penthouse Magazine (<-- really great political commentary)
Hustler (larry is gone but not forgot, RIP)
Playboy (tried alternate non-skin for a while, didn't work, but still has some good articles)

Expand your horizons!

The final issue of my most favorite magazine was released around May 2nd of 2016, Country Weekly that is. Back in the day, there was a whole bunch of country music magazines. Now there may not be any left.

God bless you always!!!
