Chiefs on cusp of being greatest NFL Dynasty in history

Has he been on the injury report in the past 7 years? How many games has he missed due to injury? Not sure where you are getting this from, the man's past history indicates the opposite is true.
I remember him limping around with a messed up big toe. But he was in his 20s. Try running around in your 30s. It ain't happening. Ask Michael Vick.

Pats still have 6 SB wins and 9 appearances in their era

KC would have 4 wins and 5 appearances
While true the Chiefs will have done something no one has ever come close to doing. Winning 3 in a row. That has to count for something. No team has even won 2 in a row and gone back to the SB with a shot at three. Dont know if they would be "equal" but it closes the gap significantly. Are the Chiefs with 5 and a three peat greater than the Pats with 7? Certainly their peak is higher and Pats would win the longevity argument.

The KC Chiefs are an impressive group, no doubt about it. But, IMHO They are still a few years away from being able to mention Mahomes and Brady as if they were equals; and yes...the number of rings does count. As Lancy Howard once said: "Your good kid, but as long as I'm around, you're still 2nd best, your going to have to learn to live with that!"

Mahomes has been a far greater part of the reason the Chiefs won their 3 SB's than Brady ever thought about being in his early career. In 2001 he won a SB and threw a single TD throughout the entire PO's. BTW he won SB MVP with 16 completions for 145 yds and a single TD.... In the AFC champ game that year he completed 12 passes for 115 yds and no TD's. That changed as he got further into his career but you have to assume that Mahomes will continue to get better as he ages. He's just entered the "prime" of his career. Brady didnt win his 4th title until he was 37 I think. Mahomes would be 28-29 if he wins next week.

"Dynasty." LOL. You talk about an overused term. A team winning for three years and all the sudden they're some Chinese legend. Ha ha ha.
They have been the 7 straight AFC championships and 5 of the last 7 SB's, have 3 titles, a repeat and can win a 4th for a threepeat if they win next week. If the Chief's arent a dynasty then there are very few actual dynasties in NFL history.

Outside the Pats who's done more inside dynasty window than the Chiefs so far? (assuming they win next week)

Which is why Roger Goodell needs to go and the officiating body needs a complete overhaul ala NBA. Remember when their officials were fixing games? They got probed so bad that it seemed like a two hour colonoscopy!
Wasnt that one or 2 officials who are doing it for the mob? It wasnt the league fixing games.

I have no patience for the "it's fixed" nonsense. Basically the same idiot logic of the stolen election dipshits. Every single game where there was a close call favoring the Chiefs, there were calls that went against them. But we ignore those, because they almost always win anyway.

Concerned American

What exactly is "fake news" about that post? Players are far bigger, faster, stronger and more durable than they were in past eras. Guys like Barkley, Jackson, Allen, Hill etc make modern players look slow and unathletic at times against guys in the 60-90's it would be comical. Dick Butkus was 6-3 245. Josh Allen is 6-5 240 and runs a 4.7 40. He could run over or leave Butkus in his dust whichever the case called for. Jackson? LMAO you can get a good hit on him now against players he's twice as fast as? Forget about it. You're problem is nostalgia is clouding your memory and you point of reference is the players they played against who are far inferior to the modern player. On the court Steph Curry looks short. On the street he's taller than 99% of all other people. That's only because everyone around him is 6'6" or taller.

I would just like to see an evenly reffed game without the usual 4th quarter calls/non-calls that ALWAYS go the Chiefs way. They already have the advantage in better coaches, QB and Super Bowl experience.
Happened with the cheatriots as well, the chiefs are the new team the NFL wants to have multiple Super Bowl wins, thst streak will continue.nothing was ever done about kraft having the refs in his pockets and nothing will be done now.

I didn't follow the Patriots and wasn't aware of calls consistently going for them. The only thing I remember was "inflate gate" which didn't seem like a big deal to me.

When a team dominates for years in a "parity league" it becomes dull. I believe the buffalo bills would be more of a boost to the Super bowl than the Chiefs.

This will be the most watched Super Bowl in history, it will be a close game and the fact that history can be made almost assures this will be the most watched Super Bowl of all time.

I always thought a QB should throw the ball he is most comfortable with.
Sure but the NFL has parameters for that and as long as you’re within those parameters you’re good. The Pats took extreme measures to circumvent the system in place to ensure footballs were within those parameters and the. Lied about doing it when they got caught.

Who really cares?
A petty penalty
