Chiefs on cusp of being greatest NFL Dynasty in history

I didn't follow the Patriots and wasn't aware of calls consistently going for them. The only thing I remember was "inflate gate" which didn't seem like a big deal to me.

Oh dude your memory has faded major big time ,EVERY playoff and Super Bowl game they won where the game was close the cheatriots ALWAYS got the calls where the other teams always had bad horrible ball calls go against them at the most crucial time of the game yet there was NEVER a crucial bad call that went against the pats that cost them games,if it was just maybe once or twice you could chalk it up to the refs just making a bad call and a mistake but EVERY SINGLE close playoff game? How transparent can the refs be? That dog don’t hunt.

Their first Super Bowl win was so obviously fixed.the refs allowed the pats players to mug the receivers,Issas Bruce said he had never been in a game before where the refs allowed the players to mug him as they did.a former nfl official said that thst was the worst officiated game he ever saw, that he had seen pop Warner far better officiated than that one. Kurt warner came out and said he believed they illegally taped their practices and other Super Bowl teams did as well.not only did the NFL want them in the Super Bowl first with the bs tuckrule when it was clearly a fumble,,they wanted them to win as wellgetting crooked refs for the superbowl.

Peyton manning said when they went to play them in foxboro, they would game plan their games in the hallways cause they felt like they had listening devices there sense they knew their plays like they were in the huddles.

When the eagles beat the pats in the superbowl with a journeyman backup no less, they went to a secret site to run their plays and just in case they did know where they went to,they did not run most the plays they practiced.when the cheatriots could not cheat, they could not win dude.

they were worse than the chiefs because while hunt may also have the refs in his pockets as kraft did, they at least did not have to cheat as well to win games,at least as far as we know Reid has never had other teams accuse him of illegally spying on other teams or illegally deflating balls

First the nfl started saying Montana was the greatest quarterback thst played the game, then it was brady, pretty soon it will be Mahomes, anything to keep nfl fans interested in the game.

Truth is NONE of the three is the greatest quarterback of all time, brady and Mahomes have had a cushion job as quarterbacks playing in an era where skirts have been put on them, the nfl never allowed players to hit brady as they did the rest of the quarterbacks in the league withoit a yellow flag thrown.

None of the three are the greatest quarterback of all time,Mahomes and Brady are not even in the top 20 playing in the age of having a skirt on,Johnny Unitas is the greatest quarterback of all time,he played in an era where quarterbacks got thrown around like ragdolls,Mahomes and Brady would never have lasted one season back then, especially brady.

Unitas would love to be reborn and play in the league starting in the early 2000s when quarterbscks had skirts on them,he would have thrown for twice as much yardage in his career easily.

So the chiefs are responsible for rigging games because of a couple bad calls the refs made? :rolleyes-41: Are they the team thst was caught in spygate ,deflategate and had multiple Super Bowl teams accusing them of illegally taping games,be accused of having listening devices planted in the visiting locker rooms, having communications go out at home for road teams but never the home team?

Pretty obvious how the cheatriots were so dominate at home all those years huh.

Where are all these horrible calls? I watch a lot of games with a good eye. Sure, they sometimes get it wrong, but I seldom see something blatant. If there is a really bad call, then they often follow-up with a payback call for the other team. That doesn't make it right, but hey--that's reality.

Allen is better than MaHOMO

In a league of promoted parity, it is not so much parity with super teams. Any team will become tiresome if they dominate for long periods of times. If the Chiefs get the referee positive calls again in this Super bowl, there will be howls. I know that they will say the true teams win. In close games though the referee penalty and placement of the football calls can determine a final score.

only people like you,,

around here in kc we dont talk about her,,

Are you stupid?

I mention Tayler Swift and you come up with something like that

Read the post next time dumbass. I was talking about what other people would be saying the morning after.

You should go back to school. Your reading comprehension skills are dismal.

I bet you have a swifty poster on your ceiling above your bed..

This would likely lock in Mahomes as Brady's equal, it would also elevate Andy Reid into the Bill Belichick comparison, some may say they don't have enough rings to compare them but they will have done something no other NFL dynasty has done.

The record for playoff comeback wins when trailing in the 4th qtr is Tom Brady with 9, Mahomes already has 6.

But this is what can make KC unique:

No team has ever 3 peated. No team has ever gone to 3 straight Super Bowls, the back to back champs always lost in their Championship round.

This is the list of teams that made 5 Finals in 6 years:

2105-2019 Warriors
1980's LA Lakers
NY Yankees 2x 1990s-2000s
1980's NY Islanders
1980's Edmonton Oilers
2020's Chiefs
There is no doubt in my mind that the Chiefs are a pinnacle team. They might end up as the all time best. I wish it was my 49ers but they had too many injuries to star players.

Johnny U was the greatest QB of his time, It's always fun to speculate about athletes playing eras but that's all it is, speculation. He was a great pure passer but not mobile.

I don't think Veach and Reid get enough credit for the Chiefs' success. Whatever they run into - injuries, players pricing themselves off the team, etc... they re-group and figure out how to win.

I actually enjoy the title games more than the super bowl. A whole lot less hoopla. I sometimes turn down the TV sound and listen on the radio. Kevin Harlan is one of the best play-by-play guys right now. He does that on Westwood One. Also broadcasts the NCAA tournament.

They have been the 7 straight AFC championships and 5 of the last 7 SB's, have 3 titles, a repeat and can win a 4th for a threepeat if they win next week. If the Chief's arent a dynasty then there are very few actual dynasties in NFL history.

Outside the Pats who's done more inside dynasty window than the Chiefs so far? (assuming they win next week)
There are no NFL "dynasties."

I think a lot of people have soured on the Chiefs because they're not putting up 50+ points a game. That was more exciting. Now that they rely more on their defense, it's actually important to not score so quickly - so that the D is rested and ready to clamp down when it's their turn. The Chiefs changed their whole M.O. when Hill left the team.
