I seem to remember that somewhere around there was a building that still had bullet holes in the stone, from some 1930's mobsters.
 
Great pictures, you'll notice Trump tower above on right hand side. I went on a river cruise last time and it was really interesting hearing the history of these various buildings, and who built them.
