Great pictures, thanks! Takes me back to some great times.

I owned a '55, Turquoise and white hardtop, and an ugly '56 black with yellow stripe hardtop. My best friend's brother owned a '57 Turquoise and white convertible that he let my friend use all the time. It was our 'cruising/babe mobile' back in the day. We also cruised in his dad's gold '57 Buick hardtop and my dad's orchid and white '57 Mercury Capri hardtop (my favorite of all). The year was 1957, so all those '57's were brand new. I was 17. Couldn't get any better than that.

What a time in America that was! Thanks for bringing that up.

We gotta shake off these Communist shackles, Americans, or it's all over for everybody.

I was a teenager when those graced our streets. Could never have afforded one back then.

Was born in '55. That's my favorite tri-5.

We did have a yellow with white '57 wagon. Six cylinder with a 3 on the tree. Excellent car.

The 56-57’s are great cars but this is the ultimate expression of Detroit iron immortalized in song by the Beach Boys and Junior Brown
