I just paid $4.40 a gallon for gas for my vehicle yesterday. I can't remember the last time it was above four dollars here. I need to get me some Trump stickers that say "I did that!"

I make a very good living, and every day I wonder how people earining a median income are surviving.

We are better off now for about thirty years. Early years were climbing the corporate ladder, raising children, smart buys and investments. Actual productivity has increased , especially 2023-2024 due to AI and changes in business dynamics after decades of decline
However it is questionable if these changes are temporary or even sustainable. The future poses potential as well as risk. If trump tweeks things too much with his schemes the risk is even greater.

Four years ago was late December, 2021, right in the thick of the peak of Covid. The vaccine was here but it was turning out to be a fizzle. Masks, lines, 6-feet, don't breath, home test kits, respirators, injecting bleach, police curfews, empty store shelves, toilet paper hoarding, vaccine cards--- who is not better off without all that?
