I see some idiot poster, rightwinger in fact, is dredging up this issue, viz the Trump trial.
Maybe he and others can read this. Not that he would be able to comprehend it.
Trump was 43 years old in 1989. He was ridiculously stupid even back then.

You are the dumbest hack on this board. You rarely make sense, all you do is attack people and contribute nothing positive.
Yeah, you've got terminal TDS.
You obviously share Trump's morals.
A lot of Blacks were LYNCHED by DEMOKKKRATS and yet you still support them. DUMB!!A lot of black men had confessions beaten out of them, but the police would never do anything like that, would they dickhead.
A lot of black folks were also murdered and lynched by Republicans as well, it's also amazing that those southern democrats children are now Republicans and they both have the same mindset.A lot of Blacks were LYNCHED by DEMOKKKRATS and yet you still support them. DUMB!!

I know a little bit about the legal process. OJ was innocent until proven guilty. The state failed to prove him guilty. So was OJ, but anyone with three functioning neurons knows he killed two people.
The Los Angeles DA gave OJ a pass by moving the trial to the downtown LA courthouse. His claimed reasons were that since the “Helter Skelter Trial’ of the Manson “family” the downtown courthouse had better media facilities. In fact all the sidewalks around the courthouse are wired for power, phone and cable. The media park their production trucks on those sidewalks during trials so as not to block the streets. If he had been tried in the West LA courthouse as he should have been, there would have been no star struck judge Lance Ito, and a much more sophisticated juror pool.I know a little bit about the legal process. Therefore OJ was innocent.
Thats all of it.
The jury found him not guilty. The prosecution failed to make a case. Pronably because the LA police are corrupy. The Los Angeles DA gave OJ a pass by moving the trial to the downtown LA courthouse. Nope, I watched and listened to the entire trial. Judge Lance Ito let the defense get away with murder. He let them bring testimony into the case that had no relevance, he let them grandstand with the gloves and a lot of other prejudicial things. The prosecution did a poor job, but the evidence would have gotten OJ convicted in the West LA courthouse which is where the case should have been tried because of the location of the crime. The jury found him not guilty. The prosecution failed to make a case. Well that is an indictment of US justice. FWIW I think OJ did it but I would have voted to aquit.Nope, I watched and listened to the entire trial. The glove didn’t fit because it had been wetted for testing and leather shrinks when wet. Plus OJ was an actor, at least of sorts. How hard would it have been for him to make it look hard to get on? Ito should not have allowed Johnny Cochran to use OJ to try on the glove. He should have required some neutral person with the same size hands to be used for the demonstration. That was just one of the many errors Ito made. Ito was star struck, the West LA Courthouse was used to trying celebrities and that wouldn’t have been a problem there. Mark Furman had the reputation of being a good cop; one whose reputation was destroyed by Cochran finding ONE example of him using a forbidden term. I lived in LA and worked around the downtown courthouse, I’m far more familiar than you are.Well that is an indictment of US justice. FWIW I think OJ did it but I would have voted to aquit.
The glove didnt fit.. The cop was a disgrace and that called their whole case into question.
