Case Against Former FBI Director James Comey Dismissed

Not is the statute of limitations has expired. Technically that was September 30. Howev er I don't know how this works for charges from an improperly appointed AG.
Don't worry if the Democrats can make outdated mistomenors into felonies. There is something that can be done to put him away.

Bleach Bondi and 47 seems to have chosen to ignore the Advice and Consent Clause of the United States Constitution.

Article II

  • Section 2

    • Clause 2 Advice and Consent

    • He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

Halligan's appointment was never valid. She was an Presidential Appointee, and as such had to be vetted by the Senate and she was not.

Suck it up MAGA MAGGOTS, Bleach Bondi AND 47 fucked up by the numbers

Trump turned the midemeanors into felonies by committing those crimes to cover up other crimes.

So go cry to him, crybaby.

Oops, you forgot to name the regulation the judge violated.

Funny, the judge had no problem describing the laws Trump violated.

It's almost as if you are reflexively vomiting a talking point that was spoonfed to you.

The Judge ruled correctly. No Advise and Consent means her appoint was invalid and there the cases were tossed. The MAGA MINED IMPAIRED, read Section 2, Article 2, Clause 2 the Constitution.

I know.

Why the judge dismiss the charges?
Because the law has this section in it.

If an appointment expires under subsection (c)(2), the district court for such district may appoint a United States attorney to serve until the vacancy is filled. The order of appointment by the court shall be filed with the clerk of the court.

In effect after 120 days after the President appoints an interim United States Attorney and the Senate hasn't confirmed or if he quits or gets fired. It is the district court that appoints the next one. This under 28 U.S.C. § 546, for appointing interim U.S. Attorneys when a vacancy arises.

This hasn't happened here. When the US attorney resigned, Bondi just appointed a replacement. Making that appointment void.

I'm going to ask you a question you will not understand.
How do you know the appointment of an acting U.S. Attorney falls under the A&C clause?

She was illegally appointed and did both grand jury indictments alone, there was no choice but to dismiss. If another prosecuting attorney had been in the room with her, there would have been the option of keeping both cases alive, but there wasn't anyone with her.

Comey case is over....another indictment can't be brought because the Halligan indictment was brought on the last day of the statute of limitation.

The James indictment can be brought before another grand jury.

And thus, you agree: he did not dismiss the charges based on the merits of the cases.
Just like I said.
Sure, we just don't agree that it has merit and unlike you I can explain why it lacks merit.

Just because the DOJ and the president isn't competent enough to follow the law when it comes to appointing people doesn't all of a sudden mean that the indictment gains merit. In fact, it's interesting that less competence increases confidence in merit for you. Just goes to show how little you know.

Yes, but I need a confirm on that. I know the Comey team argued it.

Lie. The letter of the law existed before the fat rapist charity thief slithered down the escalator.

He committed those crimes to cover up other crimes, turning them into felonies.
Lol, the woman that prosecuted him. Is actually guilty of those crimes.
