Care To Guess How Many Of The Deadliest Cities In The U.S. Have A Republican Mayor?

NO. Military's used against civilians. not the best solution
The military is not being used against civilians. The military is being used against criminals. You're making the same mistake the left make about illegals, claiming that immigrants are just immigrants and that there is no distinction between legal and illegal, just as you claim criminals are merely civilians. The military is being used against criminals. Why would you be against that? Don't "civilians" mean anything to you?

It would be nice if it were a state issue but the blue cities refuse to prosecute criminals. But, I'm all for your proposal of red states taking over blue cities. Good idea.

What murderers are not being prosecuted? Where?

Again, if the Fed and governor were concerned and not playing politics they would be flooding the zone with State and Federal resources.

Of course we all pretty much know the answer to this already but, somehow, democrats ignore the truth and the facts. They are fact deniers. Facts are stubborn things.

  • Of the 20 cities with the highest homicide rates in the country, 12 are located in red states, but only one currently has a Republican mayor.
  • And while Shreveport, La, currently has a Republican mayor, a Republican has run the city only 11 of the past 152 years.
  • It’s been 50 years since Birmingham, Alabama, last had a Republican mayor.
  • The last time there was a Republican mayor in St. Louis, Mo., was 1949.
  • Atlanta hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1879; New Orleans, hasn’t seen one since 1872.
  • In Indianapolis, the homicide rate has been elevated ever since Democrats gained control of the mayorship in 2017. From 2010 through 2016, the annual number of homicides in the city averaged around 120. Since then, it’s averaged 201.
  • The Republican mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson, ran twice as a Democrat and switched to the GOP less than two years ago.

78% of the population of the top 100 cities lived in cities with Democratic mayors, and 16% lived in cities with Republican mayors, based on 2020 population estimates. I think the question the GOP should be asking themselves is why they have so little appeal to city dwellers.

Yes, we know that for some unfathonable reason, democrats like crime, and criminals like democrat cities. By the way, most judges in the cities are elected by their democrat constituents and their mayors reflect the police policies they want.
Talk about horseshit...

This about running Urban Areas... More Complex societies like Urban areas perform far better with social programs like Public Transport, well maintained Roads, Parks, Waterworks....
Democrats goal is to get them working for the people of the City...
GOP state that Government should be small and Government shouldn't be involved... So Public Transport has to be cut to only where and when profitable, only services available are ones that can be made profitable... Water is privatised as well, this has been a global disaster.

So well developed societies they want a Government (be it Local, State or Fed) to work, actually they need it to work... A thing as simple as a proper public transport system allows people in poor areas to work in rich areas...

So the question is why do no Cities even in massive red states v one for GOP Mayors? Well I think I explained the answer...

GOP/MAGA don't want to get things working, they want to cut or sell(privatise) public services. They will not stop until all 'Chosen Ones' live in a Compound surrounded by armed guards and the rest of America is starving outside... Ala Hunger Games or South Africa...

Many of them in cities like Washington D.C. and other Democrat controlled cities.
This is why they have a constant string of repeat-offenders and many of them are classified as minors because their laws state that 24 yr olds and under are minors and cannot be prosecuted like adults. They don't even keep records of the identities of these violent children that are available to the public.

sorry folks----another personal anecdote----back up to 1991. I was living in a place called
"crown heights, brooklyn" -----very new to me, I am actually a jersey girl but I was a single
mom and needed some place safe for my 7 year old. ----some time in August the place
EXPLODED IN VIOLENCE----watta mess, day after day----it was a riot ----one man dead---so bad that the school bus was not running----but I had to work. -----my SO came over and nailed the windows shut----we persevered-----sorta. Day by Day---no let-up. Then----as I emerged from the subway I HEARD THUNDER above my head------THERE THEY WERE----hundreds of MOUNTED
MEN---THE NATIONAL GUARD-------I will never forget that moment of INTENSE RELIEF----the whole thing was OVERS. I, fully, support the use of the national guard to SAVE the situation
in case of riot. The population is entitled to PROTECTION. The mothers in the "HOOD" have a
right to breathe. BTW with all that stuff---horses, riot gear etc etc----noboby got hurt once those scary militant, grim looking guys showed up

Nice goal post relocation

Bottom line is that the murder rate in that red state city is more than DOUBLE that of Chicago and yet no Federal response

Why?
Well, for one....there can exist a blue city in a Red State.
And guess who runs every blue city.

Also....Trump cannot start a Federal response without permission of the mayors of those cities. Washington D.C. is federal property and not in a state, and thus falls under federal jurisdiction.
