Care To Guess How Many Of The Deadliest Cities In The U.S. Have A Republican Mayor?

Of course we all pretty much know the answer to this already but, somehow, democrats ignore the truth and the facts. They are fact deniers. Facts are stubborn things.

  • Of the 20 cities with the highest homicide rates in the country, 12 are located in red states, but only one currently has a Republican mayor.
  • And while Shreveport, La, currently has a Republican mayor, a Republican has run the city only 11 of the past 152 years.
  • It’s been 50 years since Birmingham, Alabama, last had a Republican mayor.
  • The last time there was a Republican mayor in St. Louis, Mo., was 1949.
  • Atlanta hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1879; New Orleans, hasn’t seen one since 1872.
  • In Indianapolis, the homicide rate has been elevated ever since Democrats gained control of the mayorship in 2017. From 2010 through 2016, the annual number of homicides in the city averaged around 120. Since then, it’s averaged 201.
  • The Republican mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson, ran twice as a Democrat and switched to the GOP less than two years ago.

Show me a crime-free city in the USA.

Personal responsibility for one's actions - have you ever heard of it?
Personal responsibility is part of the equation. The environment people live in does not help or does help cause issues.

We’ll see.
No. He will send troops to Democratic states where there is opposition to him. California, Illinois, and Maryland have Democratic governors who are potential Presidential candidates and actively resisting. New York is also a target.

Chicago this weekend:

9 murdered.

Over 50 shit

ZERO arrests.

Nice job holding people responsible for their actions, Dimwingers. :auiqs.jpg:

Again, if the Fed and governor were concerned and not playing politics they would be flooding the zone with State and Federal resources.

States set the gun rules, courts and prisons
Very few major cities would want a Republican as mayor

Maybe for some States and some gun rules, but Counties or their equivalent set the courts and the police forces unless the county only uses State police.

And most of the counties those cities are in are either dominated by said city, or the city is a unique entity.

What is your point? How much power over crime do you imagine a mayor of any city has?

That has certainly been the case over the past century.

That may now be changing, as Republicans force law-and-order onto the streets of some of those $hithole$.

In some places a reversal of ancient Democratic gerrymandering may be of some genuine help as well.

How?

Dividing up some of these cities so that part of a Congressional District is in the City and much of it in the Burbs.

The Dems have shown the Pubs the way.

It would appear that the Pubs are awakening to the technique and... emulation is the sincerest form of flattery... ;)

New York CITY has had the Sullivan Law (strict gun control banning carrying & possession of firearms since 1911).
It was named after its creator Timothy Sullivan, a Democrat.

Alvin Bragg, soft-on-crime Democrat CITY "prosecutor", released illegal aliens who attacked, punched & kicked 2 NYC police officers. The perpetrators than fled the city. Reports are they are somewhere in Caifornia.

Never trust the words of a Democrat.
