Capitalism

Panel houses in the USSR had very thin partitions, and between them there were openings instead of boxes for electrical equipment, ordinary steel pipes were inserted there. Because of this, there you could hear the conversations of neighbors as if they were in your apartment.

The walls on these panels were solid concrete. To hang the carpet, Soviet citizens hammered them by hand, because Soviet drills could not drill such concrete. They hammered for about a day in order to make 4-5 holes.
Or it could have been done with an assembly gunpowder gun, but for this it was necessary to have an worker who carried this pistol from the production, which was illegal (although it was a matter of spit)

This is usual things of soviet life and not something extraordinary.

The question is what this best country is. I bet it will be somewhere in Northern or Central Europe, with population and area of middle seized American state and with abundance of natural resources if counted per capita.
I don’t what the best country is, but it certainly can’t be ours.

In general, in the USSR, the quality of industrial products was even several times worse than what the Chinese are now producing. There were exceptions, for example the measuring tools were normal. But, for example, in order to reliably turn on the power switch, the knives were need to knock, it did not enter, and for this they usually broke the cover block-locks. For example, the screws there were made of ordinary mild steel, and it is difficult to screw it even into a tree without demaging of the slot. "Niva" combines worked for one season, after that it were used for spare parts, they bought new combines every year. Although it didn't give a damn about that either, the USSR bought grain from Canada

It is also often said that there was no sex in the USSR, hinting that there was a high culture of relations between a man and a woman. However, I heard twice about cases of sexual violence in pioneer camps and orphanages, one of them was a victim, he was orally raped, but he said nothing to parents. Subsequently, he became a passive homosexual.

What was definitely not there was control over the safety of children, in all respects, not just sexual. If a metal construction came off the wall and killed the child, no one was responsible for this. There were constant cases when children in children's institutions drowned while bathing, and no one was seriously punished for this. Although this is still partly actual.

This, by the way, is just the classic principle of the left, denying individual responsibility. Society is always to blame, which means de facto no one is responsible for anything.
But at the same time, you are always obliged to give your child to the bastard that the Party proposed for his upbringing.

Leftists usually always say that they will fix everything, these are just temporary difficulties, but they always only say and never guarantee anything. Today they will tell the Americans that they do not need the second amendment, because they will end crime, and tomorrow, when the Americans surrender their weapons, they will be fucked and no one will care about their opinion on the second amendment.

It seems to be an obvious thought after 2 years of the pandemic: The universal threat can be dealt with only by universal efforts. Such efforts are impossible under capitalism. That is, again the choice: "socialism or barbarism."

Internationalism is alien to capitalism. It is ruled by racism, xenophobia and nationalism, powdered to cover up by political correctness. Otherwise, how can people be forced to fight with each other?
For 500 years of its existence, capitalism has not solved a single global problem - hunger, poverty, homelessness, inequality, wars, corruption, oppression of women, pollution of the planet. But we will reproach socialism, which has not done this in 70 years, having survived 2 wars of annihilation.

but I'll take anything over slavery (socialism).
Your "freedom" is house of cards, which money changers are ready to set on fire at any moment to write off their debts
US Federal Government debt.
1990: $3.2 trillion
1995: $4.9 trillion
2000: $5.6 trillion
2005: $7.9 trillion
2010: $13.5 trillion
2015: $18.1 trillion
Now: $29 trillion

Yep. The government is fucking things up, to be sure. Buncha fucking socialists.

Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Denmark, Australia.
Norway is sitting over an ocean of oil. They are the Scandinavian equivalent of Kuwait. The other three are near the top of the index of economic freedom. They are ranked higher than the USA.

Un fettered capitalism is a disaster. However regulated capitalism gave us the wonders of the 20th century in America. Sadly it seems the left hate the idea of people being succesful and the right hates the idea that a worker should be paid a fair days pay for a fair days work in a safe and healthy environment.

If we have to choose between to much of one or the other I'll take too much capitalism as long as I can keep my freedoms to criticize. The other option means no freedoms at all. I did quite well under regulated captialism as did anyone else who worked hard and applied themselves to become better. These machines everyone clicks and swipes with their fingers 24/7 exist because of capitalism.

Studies have shown that porn sites attract more people than Amazon, Netflix and Twitter combined. 30% of all videos on the Web are pornography. 88% of these videos contain scenes of violence against women. Since 2005, the request for "teen porn" has grown 3 times. This is a culture under capitalism.
