Woke wannabe critics are attempting to cancel some our favorite Christmas movies. Some Scrooge-like viewers claim the Christmas classics should be thrown out like an unwanted gift.

‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

It’s not just “The Holiday” that purportedly features problematic men.
Frank Capra’s Christmas classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” is also being targeted by viewers who accuse Jimmy Stewart’s character of exhibiting “misogynistic” behavior.

‘The Santa Clause’

“The Santa Clause” was a box-office smash back in 1994, grossing almost $200 million and spawning two sequels.
But some viewers say the film hasn’t aged well in the 27 years since its release and have branded it as “fatphobic.”

‘Jingle All The Way’

Like “The Santa Clause,” “Jingle All The Way” became a ’90s Christmas classic — but woke critics say problematic characters and themes ruin a nostalgic rewatch.

Woke wannabe film critics cancel Christmas classics over ‘toxic masculinity’

So, some critics had things to say about some movies. How exactly is anything being cancelled?

It's a Wonderful Life was once thought to be Communist by wingnuts during the red scare. If the government had censored the movie back then you'd have a real case of cancellation on your hands. But today, where are calls to ban the movie?

Well then we get perhaps the worst cinematic misstep, the biggest flop ever... "Santa Inc" . More PC bullshit. More crap we didn't need or ask for. They won't even let me do screen shots over this disaster....

This review of "Santa Inc" was made just for you...

Everybody knows the worst Christmas movies always star Kirk Cameron.

From these guys

To a very drunk atheist who tortures herself watching the movie. Pretty funny stuff.

The thread premise is a lie.

The OP’s portrayal of ‘woke’ is a lie.

The claim that anything is being ‘canceled’ is a lie.

What about Christmas Vacation when they all stand and take the Pledge of Allegiance? That has to have many people upset and I'm surprised that scene hasn't been censored on tv.

Gosh, as if there wasn't enough antisemitism on this board.

I'm sure some of the wingnuts will not totally gloss over your post, right?

It's ok, he's Jewish.

Would you deny black folks from calling each other n*ggers?

Well, if they don't stop publication of certain movies, like they did the most beloved Dr. Seuss books, I don't see a problem. There are always bad reviews, and it's true that there are cultural changes that affect movies, locked in time.

The broke wokers can say what they wanna say. And it'll only make me watch these movies even more.
