Observation is not paranoia. We were actually going to hit 2 or 3 million people until we the people decided to do something? We take our direction from Trump's team, particularly Dr. Fauci. When we talk about all the cases the US has to other places, your comrades tell us it's because of Trump's failed policies. However when you ask them which ones, they can't tell you.
If you are speaking for your ilk, then what you are saying is that the fact we didn't get anywhere near deaths in the millions had nothing to do with Trump, it was everybody else, but the fact we have such a population with the virus is Trump's fault. And you don't see a problem trying to use that logic on the rest of us.
Didn't trump say deaths from the COVID-19 virus would be way, way, way way less than 100,000...
Current death toll is over 142,000
He was a lot closer than the others, wasn't he? That's besides the fact Trump didn't think they'd be fudging the numbers like they are. When he guaranteed federal money to treat these Covid patients, he didn't think it would encourage them to make shit up to get that money.
Christ ray, still suck on "unskew the polls" BS from the wingnut cult.
This wing nut wants to know the exact cause of each and every death now claimed because of Covid. There's a difference between dying with Covid, and dying because of Covid. That's the figures we want to know.
No, no you don't. You just want to rally the wingnut base with false premises.
That's noted.
Asking to have deaths categorized between deaths with Covid and deaths because of Covid is rallying the base with a false premise? Do you know what I think? I think they are artificially inflating the numbers to cause panic in this country. Let's see those numbers. What are you afraid of? I'm not.
You clearly are afraid of the numbers. Your posts prove that.
You see the numbers and YOU disagree with them POLITICALLY so you deny them.
That is clear.
You don't understand how this all works.
If a person gets gunned down in the street, you will never see an autopsy report of death caused by gunshot. It may say death caused by cardiac arrest because of great blood loss, or perhaps liver failure if that's where the bullets entered, but never died of gunshot wound.
An autopsy lists the organ or body part that failed as cause of death. It also lists "contributing factors" such as diabetes, hypertension, heart and so on. If Covid is on that list, it's considered a Covid death because Covid is never listed as the actual cause of death, just like a gunshot wound.
It's complex because you have heart failure. You die from that heart failure, but when admitted to the hospital or when they found your body, they also found you had the virus. The question is, would your heart have failed anyway without Covid, or did Covid cause the disease you already had to finish you off? It's really a question that nobody can answer without an extensive autopsy. Even before Covid, less than 20% of Americans have had an autopsy after death, and it's much riskier now so doctors don't do them willy nilly.
A close friend of mine died about five years ago or so. He had a heart condition, but was an alcoholic. A few weeks after his death, the autopsy report came out. They listed it as natural causes, in spite of him drinking enough booze to kill a horse, and his heart being twice the size of a normal person.
