I would be fine with scrapping all nine justices and finding a way to appoint 9 new ones using a non-political system that appoints judges who don't have any obvious political affiliations. Or, leaving the current ones in place and starting the new system now. However, adhering to the law and the Constitution would be important. No judges who decide cases based on feelings and emotions or what they feel is best for Americans - only interpreting the laws we have. That is the reason why they are there.Urging is fair game too.
But take it a step further on the question of a president appointing politically biased judges?
I have a hunch Biden would attempt to do that too if he's given the opportunity.
But wouldn't loading up the court by Biden increasing the number of judges, be of more importance to all Americans? Especially when knowing that they would be chosen based on biased politics?
I'm wondering why Biden thinks he can tell the Supreme Court how to decide a case. Why would Biden even "urge" the Supreme Court how to decide his way unless he thinks he has some kind of power or influence over it? I'm fine with a president asking the Supreme Court to make a decision on a matter but not to "urge" the court to make a particular decision, one way or another. The justices should make their decisions based on the law, not based on what someone tells them how to decide a case, even the president.

Biden urges Supreme Court to maintain workplace vaccine mandate
The Biden administration on Thursday urged the Supreme Court to leave intact a workplace vaccine-or-test mandate as public health officials contend with the surging COVID-19 pandemic. The administration's brief, filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ), comes in response to a legal challenge...www.yahoo.com
Google it. seems that they do present their case at times.I disagree. A president should not be "urging" any court to decide a particular way.
He's in no way obligated to be impartial here, and that's coming from somebody that's not a fan of Biden.
Part of my reasoning is that the left would attack Trump and have for trying to influence the Court but Biden doing it is fine with them. It's most likely just lip service to his followers. He wants to be on record saying what he's supposed to say.
Biden was not stating an opinion. He was telling the Court how they should decide.Exactly. People are free to state an opinion. That some have to make everything extremely partisan shows a mental health issue in this country.

It's always like that dude. Most of you are way older than me and seem to have not spotted the trend here. Partisans from both sides are blatant hypocrites on a regular basis. It never stops. It just goes round and round and round.Part of my reasoning is that the left would attack Trump and have for trying to influence the Court but Biden doing it is fine with them.
Are you able to independently think? Are you able to make any posts without Trump in them? TDS is a horrible disease.
Biden was not stating an opinion. He was telling the Court how they should decide.
I was under the impression that the reason that Trump was in such a hurry to enpanel A. Barrett before Gingsberg was even cold is because he believed or was led to believe that she was help shoe him into the presidency in the event he didn't have enough votes (much like they did for Bush alluding him to defeat Gore and the Democrats). He was in such disbelief and so angry that things didn't go his way as if him losing was not ever even a possibility.Urging is fair game too.

And Trump keeps trying and gets shit on everytime.Biden was not stating an opinion. He was telling the Court how they should decide.
Get real. When it comes to The Supremes, a president can urge in one hand and take a dump in the other and see which one fills up first. The only way a president can really influence the court is by being in the presidency when Supremes die or retire (or have the party in power of the Senate refuse to hear any nominees for a year before the election from a president they don't like), so they can pick nominees that have consistently ruled in accordance with what the president picking them wants to see happen, and have party control of the Senate to force them through. Why would Biden say that unless he felt he could tell the Court how to decide? He wasn't expressing an opinion. He was "urging" the Court to decide in his favor.
Urge - Please do thisWhy would Biden say that unless he felt he could tell the Court how to decide? He wasn't expressing an opinion. He was "urging" the Court to decide in his favor.
Was that before or after Roberts took Chuck Schumer to the woodshed in Mar. 2020 for threatening the SCOTUS? Hmmm? Hypocrite! Opinion | Schumer Threatens the CourtRoberts took Trump to the woodshed over one of his retarded rants about the court. The problem with the ex game show host is he doesn't know when to shut his big ignorant mouth.
Trump's mouth is bigger then his ass.
