But I would have thought this celebration of the 2nd deserved some recogniton.

The individuals or individual who did this was not a law abiding American citizen and was not entitled to 2nd Amendment protection.......

Keep in mind, the shooter/s are going to be found to be gang members....who have been arrested over and over again by the police, to be released, over and over again by democrat party prosecutors and judges, even after having long histories of crime and violence, including gun crimes. Instead of being in prison for their crimes, the democrat party will have released these killers over and over again.

Normal people who own and carry guns for self defense, sport, hobby.....are not using those guns for crime or murder.......the people who do commit these crimes are released to commit these crimes again and again by the democrat party.

We do not have a gun problem in the United States...we have a democrat party problem in the United States. If the democrat party would stop releasing violent gun offenders over and over again.....our gun crime and murder rates would be better than any where in the world.....

Meanwhile...in England.....the government there allowed over 250,000 English girls to be gang raped by muslim men.....because the police and bureaucrats of the social welfare state didn't want to be called racists.....

We have a 2nd Amendment in the United States in order to protect our people when the government can't or won't protect us....or is actively trying to persecute or murder us......

In Britain...you gave up your guns thinking your government would protect you from muslim rape gangs raping your daughters.......and all the other violent crime.....your government is not doing this, and they are not doing it for the dumbest of reasons......

But...they are still not doing it.....the girls who were gang raped by muslim men had no one to protect them....their single mothers, the type of families targeted by the muslim men....had no way to resist the violence of these muslim men....and the police did not protect them.....

In the U.S....? Our women, even if single, have the opportunity to protect themselves and their families....from gang rape and other violence....

I'll keep our 2nd Amendment..........it protects everything else.

Criminals, especially career rimianls don't have Second Amendment rights. Once they are convicted of even on felony, their Second Amendment rights are abrogated forever. Plus in California, carrying a firearm, eiother concealed or openly is at a minimum a misdemeanor:

A convicted criminal carrying a loaded firearm becomes a felon even if the prior conviction is a misdemeanor. That is ANY type of firearm, a pistol rifle or shotgun, I believe that even applies to historical firearms that aren't otherwise regulated.
Here are SOME of the variables that will move carrying a loaded firearm from misdemeanor to felony:
"Several specific conditions can lead to felony charges.

• The person has a prior felony conviction or certain misdemeanor convictions.
• The firearm was stolen, and the person knew or should have known it was stolen.
• The individual was an active participant in a criminal street gang.
• The person is not the registered owner of the firearm.
