You base your claims on the people. It is yellow journalism. Honest reporters name the sources. Why name them? To allow the press to verify the claims.

The so-called fire was the Democrats running away from TX. When they came back, the redistricting plan was voted for and the Democrats lost 2 seats. This has happened a lot of times done by Democrats. Those 5 seats had already been voted on for Trump when he won back his office.

You are talking about redistricting based on population change, which is tied to the decennial census. They aren't re-drawing congressional maps based on a change in the number of representatives though. The before and after maps will have the SAME number of districts. So this isn't about population change.

While mid-decade census are legal, that data CANNOT be used for redistricting per 13 U.S. Code § 141 - "Population and other census information".
