Busy Hurricane Season is predicted for 2024

Actually I stopped SunsetMommy from using his OLD Marcott citations with MY lastest ones.
Then he STFU and went away... as he does whenever I reappear.. he Disappears.
He then KNOWINGLY REPEATS LIES because he's an OCD RW conspiracist.

Remember Sunsetboy?

I posted the evidence numerous times already which you IGNORED because you can't address it
Here is what Marcott stated about that red uptick for the 20th time:

LINK

Your propensity to lie is well known after all I corrected you on this around 20 times already.
Here is what Marcott said More Recently for the 20th Time.

and here is what Marcott Said Most Recently for the Fifth or Sixth Time.
So you are knowingly LYING hoping I'm not around.[/b]

Yes and I REFUTED you AS ALWAYS re Marcott as you were using OBSOLETE Citations.

How about Marcott 2021 ? (not 2013, NOT pre 2009 decades)

Climate special: the past and future of the Earth's climate

Reassessing 24,000 years of global temperatures, and on the ground at COP26.

Interviewee: Shaun Marcott
"..The past record provides perspective. Papers like this basically point out, just at the very basic level, what has happened before and where we are in that context and where we’re heading towards. In a Prior paper that we had, we said statistically we don’t really know if today is any warmer than what we call the warm period of the last 10,000 years.
This paper has said actually, We’ve Left what was Normal.
That’s an important perspective to have when you think about where We’re off to, considering these Temperatures that we’re Trajecting towards, as far we know, we Haven’t seen in 50 Million years or so, and the world was a lot Different then."".

Sunset Tommy cannot even debate Climate!
He Dumps an article from somewhere (like WTFUWT) and says: ""You must refute this paper or you lose.""

WUWT Tommy himself is NOT EVEN CONVERSANT on the topic, and unlike me cannot lay out his position AND/OR why.
He put me on IGNORE after my SIX attempts to make him explain his position on warming and whether and if it was even warming at all.
He could Not!!

He prefers the motor mouth Crick who Unlike me doesn't Crush him with 100%/180° Rebuttal as I just did above AGAIN using his own source: Marcott.
(He Fallaciously/ posted COLD WEATHER DAYS in Skooker's anti-Science "Skeptics Winning" thread as if it was Not warming, but in fact cooling.)

So here Again: ANOTHER SUNSET for TOMMY.

That’s an odd belief given that this interglacial period is 2C colder than the previous interglacial periods.

So the **** what? What tells you they should all come to the same maximum value? Has every interglacial in the planet's history come to the same temperature?

I don't believe it is a single maximum value. It's a complicated interplay between salinity, density and wind patterns which trigger disruption of heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic. It's more like a range than a single temperature.

I don't believe it is a single maximum value.
Then why do you keep clearly suggesting that you believe the Earth's warming is part of the glacial cycle because we have not yet reached the same temperature as the previous peak?

Please explain how changes in salinity, density and wind patters causes the Earth to warm at the rate observed.

Maybe study up on the factors which affect ocean currents and the oxygen isotope curve.

We'd all benefit from greater knowledge; some dramatically more than others.

Great. Then study where the majority of heat is stored, what happens to the planet’s climate when heat transport from the Atlantic to the Arctic gets disrupted, why the climate changes when it happens and what causes the ocean currents to change.

FOUR ... count 'em ... FOUR tropical cyclones so far this season ... we're, what?, 1/3 the way through ... 20 to 1, losers, 20 to 1 ...

How about YOU study what CAN disrupt heat transport from the Atlantic to the Arctic and get back to us.

You do realize you have made posts concerning thermohaline circulation, right? It seems rather disingenuous of you to play dumb about this.

"Winds drive ocean currents in the upper 100 meters of the ocean’s surface. However, ocean currents also flow thousands of meters below the surface. These deep-ocean currents are driven by differences in the water’s density, which is controlled by temperature (thermo) and salinity (haline). This process is known as thermohaline circulation.

In the Earth's polar regions ocean water gets very cold, forming sea ice. As a consequence the surrounding seawater gets saltier, because when sea ice forms, the salt is left behind. As the seawater gets saltier, its density increases, and it starts to sink. Surface water is pulled in to replace the sinking water, which in turn eventually becomes cold and salty enough to sink. This initiates the deep-ocean currents driving the global conveyer belt."

When we get to the math part ... remember that the lower currents are 200 times slower than the wind currents ... salt transport has nothing to do with climate or weather ...

I have a degree in ocean engineering which, among other things, included 5 different classes in various aspects of oceanography.

Which is surprising given your playing dumb about the impact the ocean has on the planet's climate.

And then there's the matter of your integrity and honesty.
the result would be catastrophic cooling

My integrity and honesty are just fine. I have NEVER suggested anythiong other than that a slowdown or cessation of AMOC and/or the Gulf Stream would cause cooling in Europe. I put up several posts over the past many months warning of the likelihood of Arctic ice melt slowing and even stopping AMOC and what the consequences might be. My posts also dealt with the consequences to the ocean food chain should that cold, mineral-laden equatorial upwelling come to a halt.

So, **** off.

Your dishonesty is on full display when you deny the disruption of heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic can't trigger glacial periods. You know better.

I think the phrase you used was CATASTROPHIC cooling? Which is it?

"...Changing salinity affects ocean circulation, which in turn has a huge impact on climate. For instance, recent studies have suggested that changes in thermohaline circulation are part of how the Earth cycles between glacial and interglacial periods. In other words, ocean circulation may be the missing link between orbital variations that we know are linked to the cycle of ice ages..."
